I’m an editor and this app is SO good. But the way you have to pay to export is actually INSANE. That’s what cuts it for me. I decide to see if it works. It does just very limited. I select a video around 100 seconds long. I say “let’s try out a 90 second clip” waits 10 minutes to get a 6 second clip that isn’t even worth the wait for. **Developer response:** Thanks for your review and for trying out the AI editing feature. The Snapcut Team ### 3/5 — Needs Major Improvements *2025-01-20* After about 30 minutes of use, I ran into a multitude of bugs that really just makes using the app a pain. Constantly resetting the app or reinserting videos because videos would turn back or start lagging out. Weird issues with the filters crashing the app. The non-ability to insert photos of any kind. Weird visual bugs when it comes to the use of filters. Weird black screens appearing for a few frames between clips for no apparent reason. This app still needs a lot of touch-ups, no where near Capcut’s original quality but not a bad replacement. **Developer response:** Thank you for your feedback. CapCut is 10 times better than this and after you use it and you’re about to export a video it takes a century and then as soon as you get out, your phone barely works like it’s so glitchy after that And they have AI do work for you like and it’s so terrible and they don’t even let you pick songs from your photos and they only allow you to use Apple Music and like everyone uses Spotify not Apple Music so this app deserves a zero star rating. For me this app is user-friendly and offers a good range of features for video editing. It has a clean interface and edit videos very efficiently. The export options are versatile & offer high-quality outputs. Overall, a reliable choice for anyone looking to edit videos on their device. A few crashes though. ### 4/5 — Needs many updates, but the idea is genius *2024-12-27* I downloaded this app purely to see how advanced the AI is with the software. It does have many bugs, such as crashing on certain effects and sometimes can’t play the video because of the lag if the effects. I truly think it is smart to use AI to make edits for people. At this point in development this software can not be used professionally even when used manually and not with AI, but this app has a lot of potential. This app is definitely well done and thought out but like I said, the apps needs lots of maintenance.
