## What is Snapdraft?

Auto-redact PII from any iPhone screenshot. On-device. Free to use, with an optional one-time unlock to remove the watermark on designed posts.

Snapdraft auto-blurs sensitive info — phone numbers, emails, account numbers, addresses, API keys, faces, QR codes — using Apple's Vision framework. Tap any blur to remove, long-press to change the face cover, drag to add one Vision missed. Save at original size to paste into Slack, Linear or email.

Need it to look like a designed post? Switch to Post mode — wraps your screenshot in an iPhone frame on a designer background. Six backgrounds included.

EVERYTHING ON-DEVICE
Nothing uploaded. No accounts. No tracking. The OCR runs locally using Apple's Vision framework — your screenshots never leave your phone.

WHAT IT DOES
• Auto-detects PII (phones, emails, card numbers, addresses, Stripe/AWS keys, names, JWTs)
• Covers detected faces with a friendly face cover — pick from circle, sunglasses, disguise, see-no-evil, or dotted-line. Long-press a face to change just that one.
• Manual emoji tool — drag a sunglasses (or any picked emoji) over anything Vision missed
• Long-press any blur to make it Larger or Smaller without redrawing
• Tap any blur to remove a false positive
• Pinch to zoom + draw button for pixel-precise manual blurs while zoomed in
• 6 designed backgrounds — gradients, solids, transparent
• iPhone frame with show/hide status bar toggle, fit-vs-fill image choice, three padding presets
• Save to Photos as a high-res PNG

PRIVACY-FIRST BY DESIGN
We don't collect data. We don't have a server to collect it on. The app contains exactly two third-party dependencies: zero. Snapdraft is one developer, one app, on-device only.

I built Snapdraft because Apple's Markup tool doesn't actually blur — it covers things with a shape that anyone can move. That's not redaction. Snapdraft does redaction the way you expect: detected, blurred, exported.

• Small face detection now uses an extra tiled pass so group photos and crowds get more reliably covered.
• Ghost-circle artifacts next to detected faces are filtered out.
• Emoji is sized to match the redaction circle (no overshoot).
• Post-mode preview reflects Tight / Normal / Loose padding so what you see is what you save.

The one-time unlock is back to remove the Post-mode watermark. Existing purchases restore automatically.
