## What is Snaplate?

Snaplate turns a photo of your plate into a nutrition breakdown in seconds.

Point your camera at a meal and Snaplate identifies the foods and estimates calories and macros — protein, carbs, and fat. No account, no sign-in, no fuss.

WHAT YOU GET
• Snap or pick a photo — Snaplate names the foods on your plate
• Per-item and total calories, plus protein, carbs, and fat
• An estimated portion weight for every item
• A daily view of today's scans and calories, with a budget gauge
• Weekly trends so you can see your progress
• Apple Health integration: log meals to Health and see your energy balance (food in vs. Active + Resting energy)
• Save favourites and re-log a meal in a single tap
• Log by barcode or a quick description when a photo isn't handy
• A full history of your past meals, stored on your device

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
• No account, no sign-in, no tracking
• Your photo is sent to our server only to analyze the meal, then discarded — never stored, never used to train models
• Your scan history stays on your device

PRICING
• Start with 5 free scans — no account, no card
• Snaplate Pro unlocks everyday scanning with 200 analyses every month
• Need more before your next renewal? Add a 50-credit top-up — used only after your monthly credits, and it never expires

Snaplate Pro is a monthly auto-renewing subscription. Payment is charged to your Apple ID, and it renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel anytime in your App Store account settings.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 2.3.0 — 2026-08-16

Set it once, and Snaplate keeps up.

• Schedule a favourite to add itself. Choose "add it for me" on any favourite's schedule and that meal lands in your day automatically — no notification, nothing to tap. Next time you open the app you'll see exactly what was added, and you can undo any of it.

• Your weight trend now draws a line to your goal and forecasts when you'll reach it, based on how you're actually tracking.

• Tap any day in the Last 7 days chart to see that day's totals.

• Fixed: weight recorded in Apple Health didn't reach your weight card if you'd connected Health before body weight was part of Snaplate. It shows up now.

Thanks for using Snaplate!

### 2.2.9 — 2026-08-11

Better photos, better numbers.

• Your camera now shoots in standard 4:3 — the same shape as the built-in Camera app — so meal photos look normal in your library and each scan sees more of the plate. Prefer the old edge-to-edge look? Switch back to Full screen in Settings.

• Sharper drink and food matching. Beer, wine, cola, coffee, juices and spirits now pull the right nutrition data instead of an occasional bad guess — red wine no longer lands on vinegar.

• When Snaplate isn't confident about a match, it trusts its own estimate rather than forcing a wrong lookup.

• Favourites now has its own row in the menu. And after you save a meal, going back returns you Home rather than to the form you just finished — which could log the same meal twice.

Thanks for using Snaplate!

### 2.2.8 — 2026-07-26

We've clarified how Snaplate Pro works, so you always know what you get: 200 meal scans a month, plus top-ups whenever you need more.

Thanks for using Snaplate!

### 2.2.7 — 2026-07-16

This update brings a new way to reach us, plus fixes and polish:
• New: send feedback anytime from the menu — report a problem or request a feature.
• Nutrition-label scans now read calories and macros accurately.
• The "Write meals to Apple Health" setting now guides you to Health to grant access when needed, instead of silently switching back off.
• Your weight card shows a trend graph from your very first entry, with a goal line.
• Added a "Done" button above the number keypad.

### 2.2.3 — 2026-07-09

Fixed a bug where scanning a product's nutrition label could show incorrect calories and macros. Panel values are now read accurately straight from the label.
