### 1.2 — 2026-02-26

This update improves ad loading reliability by fixing an SDK initialization timing issue where ads were being requested before the Google Mobile Ads SDK had fully initialized, and adds exponential backoff retry logic so ads automatically reattempt loading if the initial request fails. The rewarded ad unit was also updated to use the correct Rewarded format (replacing an incorrectly configured Rewarded Interstitial unit), and a client-side frequency control was added to interstitial ads so users are not shown an ad on their first action. No user-facing features, UI, or permissions were changed.

Added server-side protection via a PostgreSQL trigger that prevents users from directly modifying sensitive columns (credits_balance, is_premium, api_token) through the Supabase REST API, closing a security vulnerability where anyone with the anon key could give themselves unlimited credits or free premium. Updated the app to use secure SECURITY DEFINER RPC functions for all credit and premium status operations instead of direct table updates.
