If this could be fixed the app would be 5 stars again ### 3/5 — Limited settings *2025-09-19, version 4.1.5* Lately the notifications stop working randomly, only way to fix the issue is reinstalling the app. The mobile app features are very limited compared tot the web version: can’t change status, can’t sign out and sync that change with the server ### 2/5 — Apple Watch *2025-05-29, version 4.1.4* This app does not push notifications to Apple Watch which doesn’t allow you to get notifications without your phone in hand. I have a lot of contacts got added that are no longer needed so I have deceased and they don’t provide no way for you to delete the contact or make a notation. Adding editing and deleting it’s very important. I’m surprised on not like this would not have that function. ### 4/5 — Calling and Texting *2024-12-20* I have been using the SNAPmobile app for close to a year now and have had a good experience. There are a couple issues I notice but aren’t huge deals. The first issue is notifications don’t show up unless you open the app. The second issue I have noticed is occasionally the mobile app will not work when trying to start a new text because it says it can’t find a phone number so I have to hard close the app and re-open the app and it works great after that. ### 2/5 — Lots of Glitches/hit & miss on notifications *2024-11-24* We started using SNAPmobile for my business after being told it was more affordable version of Vonage, which we were currently using. We are having lots of problems with the app. Mostly not getting any notifications for phone calls or texts. We have to keep opening app to see if we missed anything. Can take up to four hours for someone to receive our responses to texts. You can save names in your contacts list, but they don't show on the SMS messages (only the phone number, no names) so you still have to figure out who's texting you even though they're already in your contact list. Also, when you text, it applies weird characters in between your words so it makes us look stupid like we can't type. The weird characters only show up after you hit send. Overall, they need to go study Vonage app and try to emulate it a little better. Sorry, but we're switching back to Vonage. Incoming calls ring once and drop. If you’re lucky and a call is connected, it won’t be for long and the call will drop. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Notification glitches *2025-04-17, version 4.1.3* This app was great at first but now it just won’t notify me of any incoming calls unless I open the app itself and see I have missed calls. ### 1/5 — Constant crashing *2025-04-17, version 4.1.3* When this app works, it’s great. However, we experience crashes and freezes on this app multiple times a day. It is beyond a joke. I would say 50% of our incoming calls go unanswered because this app will freeze when trying to take the call. Since I’m using this app for my business, the fact that we seemingly never answer the phone is huge issue, and reflects poorly on us. The only troubleshooting provided on the website for this issue is to restart your device or delete and reinstall this app, neither of which fix the issue. Fix your app. ### 1/5 — Not Good for Work From Home *2024-11-09, version 4.0.3* I try to use this app for when I’m on the go or working from home and calls just do not come in. No matter what I do. Calls often drop, the caller ID information doesn’t show half the time, it just states “connecting”, calls simply do not come through a lot. I would never recommend this product to anyone. I instead get missed call notifications in the regular phone app about half an hour later. When the auto attendant answers the call the call is shown as answered. This means when you have no idea what calls have been answered or if anyone needs to be called back. Apparently there is no plan to fix this either. To my mind it’s broken / useless if it can’t even do something as basic as accurately distinguish between calls that are missed and calls that are answered. ### 1/5 — My texts will NOT go through! *2024-06-13, version 3.5.5* This app is making it impossible to do business smoothly! Phone calls are cutting out and texts won’t send 70% of the time. It’s awful now! ### 1/5 — not getting better *2024-06-12* I’ve been using this app to work from home since 2020. Since the beginning receiving calls are hit and miss. There is usually a delay between the time I answer the call and the time the customer can hear me talking so sometime they hang up because they think they call is disconnected. As of this week calls aren’t even coming through. I’ve updated the app and my phone and I am connected to good internet. It’s not the most advanced voip app, but it does everything you need it too. I wish call blocking was easier to do. To be very clear, this app gets five stars from me- while intermittent Internet, WiFi, or data service is what earns less from time to time.
