The developers have been silent since. While the app itself might be fine for others, for me it’s not useful at all and also it was lagging and slow. I am a big fan of the having a counter track how long you have gone without relapsing and the community posts where you can interact with others with similar problems. However, I think this app needs some serious improvements. First, I’m tired of seeing the same community post sent as a notification multiple times. I do like that they are the ones getting great engagement, but seeing the same “Just woke up today, about to crush it” gets old really quick. Maybe send some other type of motivational message every so often to encourage your users. Second, moving around the menus sometimes feels kinda sluggish. My current iPhone is old, but not old enough that it can’t handle a static menu. Third, having an ability to write or speak a journal is nice but, the iPhone already has those options with greater ability to make edits. I haven’t done the meditation exercises yet, but I’ll edit in something to say once I do. All in all, this is a great app for people who want to quit their addictions. Having that countdown that opens up some encouraging and insightful messages is great. But if you want people to pay for this service, you better have great quality in what you offer. The app is poorly developed. When I open it, I’m immediately prompted to purchase a subscription again, with no visible “X” or way to exit the pop-up.
