So you go to the “Contact us” section and..it actually never directs you to the contact as it is non responsive. I cannot imagine who it was that smiths say gave this app an award. It can only have been some random person on the street. Anyway occasionally it works great, such a shame. ### 1/5 — KUMAR *2023-04-22, version 2.62* Very bad app I ever come across after fill your detail it’s go dead ### 1/5 — Useless! *2022-09-25, version 2.48* After making alterations for a title you go back and it takes you right back to the main screen. What it should do is take you back to the list to carry on making alterations. A 5 minute job becomes 30mins. The other day I changed my quantities for the Mirror and the app decided to alter the Birmingham Mail instead!!! Be very careful with this! I kept retrying and the same thing kept happening. Also the most annoying thing is that after you have made alterations, Smiths News decide to completely ignore them and keep things as they are 👏 Well done guys great work 😡 Time for shops to stop selling papers I think. ### 1/5 — The App is Overdate *2022-08-01, version 2.3* Developers not updating the current prices app it self not user friendly but doesn’t surprise me coz smith’s News are waste of time pathetic and can only get worse ### 1/5 — Good for nothing *2022-05-31, version 2.3* When they launched it first time it ok but when they updated the old version it’s gone from bad to worse . The old one was perfect, but since it was given a new look, it’s basically unusable. I hate it. This update is glitchy. It jumps all the time, it sends you back to the beginning when trying to adjust orders. It is harder to see previous sales of newspapers. Now the app doesn’t let me make claims 80% of the time, and when searching for a title to make amendments the search function changes to Zero Credit after each title you search meaning you have to start over to change each title, then you have to go into manage orders again to actually submit your basket. ### 1/5 — Without a doubt, The worst app I’ve ever used! *2021-10-06, version 2.1* Firstly the UI is terrible, and the UX is even worse, it feels like the company gave someone £10 to make something terrible. - No Dark Mode - No Notifications - When pressing OK on a pop up your taken to an empty page and have to don’t 3x the work to adjust things! The app needs a complete remake and you should stick with the iOS design language! ### 1/5 — Very poor update-disappointing. *2021-08-14, version 2.1* Gave a rating of 1 ⭐️ because I couldn’t do zero. The navigation is all wrong. The new update doesn’t make sense as previous set up wasn’t a problem. You can’t view your sales history. It appears for a split second then disappears but it’s all zeros anyway. Magazine adjustments starts at A of the alphabet every change you try to make. A quick 5 minute job turned into 45 minutes just scrolling and scrolling and scrolling. App fails to open a lot. So fed up with SNapp I decided to use online services instead but that has blocked my log in details due to trying to many times. Come on tech team-sort this nonsense out. ### 1/5 — Hopeless version *2021-07-01, version 2.0.0* I have to delete and reinstall everyday to get the date to change so I can make claims. Adjustments to orders are cumbersome and time consuming. It won’t allow me to add the store specific info that will apparently stop the company mucking around with my delivery amounts. User friendly is zero, the way the app processes is slow and often freezes. Simple tasks takes so long time to process. The old was a dinosaur app that worked so well. Realised the updated the app yesterday and now it does nothing work. Report to Snapp at 11.30 at 17.00 all still the same! ### 1/5 — COME ON SMITHS!! SORT THIS OUT!! *2025-03-27, version 4.110* It’s time Smith’s got this APP sorted once and for all. It’s always been glitchy and hard to navigate but now I can’t even open the APP to use it. Back to calling India I suppose! Doesn’t even deserve 1* It’s a pity Smith’s have the monopoly in this business as I’m sure most customers would go elsewhere had they a choice! Is this why Smith’s can’t be bothered to update their APP? Like it or lump it! Where else are you going to go folks? ### 1/5 — Developed by amateurs *2025-02-18, version 4.106* The title says it all. I have been using the app for many years now and it would seem that having been coupled together by some amateur developers or even beginner students, Smith’s News have not seen the need to significantly update the app. Navigating from one page to the previous page is so cumbersome that it beggars belief that such a multimillion pound company could get it so wrong. You would mostly be sent back to the Home Page. Submitting your preference to opt for paperless weekly summary invoice is as dead as a dodo. Trying to get to the tech dept is another war on its own. From the look of things, the only reason Smiths News put the contraption they call an app together is to increase their shareholders’ dividends and nothing to don with making life easy for their customers. We are all just their cash cows, simple. ### 1/5 — Impossible back sing in *2024-02-14, version 2.87* I forget my pin try reset it wont let me sing in make me mad😡😡 ### 1/5 — Developers need to go back to the basics *2023-12-17* It’s one of the most irritating apps one can come across in the field of newspaper distribution. In most cases one can not make claim for missing credits via the app. You are either allowed to claim for zero credit or no credit at all. It didn’t use to be like this. It has deleted some of my messages. It is reading all the rest as unopened. Then after opening and deleting loads I’ve gone back into the appp to find them all unopened and undeleted. The newspaper list to amend quantities isn’t in complete alphabetical order and it rather than putting the add options towards the top it puts sales figures and won’t let me scroll down easily. I’m hoping it will register any changes I’ve made. So far not impressed. ### 2/5 — Disappointed *2018-04-02, version 1.3.1* Seemed great at first. For the last week all I get is a message telling me the server is not responding. Please get this sorted.
