If you pay at a kiosk there’s no 1.5% addition but the App requires that amount. I’m sure there’s a product owner sees that as a feature, but the reality is that means you need one hand to hold the card steady, the other hand to hold your phone, all whilst the bus is cornering, braking etc. It would be much more usable if I register the card with the app once, and then just open the app. No more faffing around. The second one - why do you charge me to top up my card? I haven’t found any way to avoid the fee. 1.5% from a NZ debit card.
