Some days you want to discover a new running route. On others, you want to return to a familiar course and see how much faster you have become. SnapRace brings both together: explore routes near you or another area on the map, view a route to the start, and follow turn-by-turn GPS navigation while you run.

Every route can become a personal challenge or a race with the community. Run it as often as you like, compare results, climb the leaderboards, unlock achievements, and chase a new personal best. The timer starts only when you are at the start and ready to go, so the effort you record is the one that matters.

NAVIGATION MADE FOR RUNNERS

Stay on course with voice, vibration and visual cues, off-route alerts, and live pace, distance, time and next-turn information. Follow your session on iPhone and Apple Watch and keep your attention on the run instead of the map.

Browse nearby running routes, explore another area on the map, or filter by distance and difficulty. You can also draw a route on the map, record one while running, and share it with friends and the SnapRace community.

Activity brings imported workouts, interactive route maps and race results together. Review pace, elevation, heart rate and other health and training metrics, then receive personalized AI insights. Import workouts from Apple Health and Garmin, send routes to Garmin, and automatically share completed races with Strava.

Train for a 5K, 10K, half marathon or marathon, or simply build a more consistent running habit. SnapRace adapts recommendations, sessions and post-run advice to your level, goals and progress.

I love this app, I love the focus on running and the ability to get coached. Strava is too overwhelming and noisy. This is so much better for runners.

The redesigned map highlights a recommended nearby race and lets you explore any city even without sharing your location.

When you choose a race, SnapRace can now guide you to the start on foot, by car, or by public transport. Your race only begins when you arrive and tap Start Race.

We’ve also brought pending imports, history, and results together in the new Activity section, improved route creation, onboarding, and sign-in, and polished performance and reliability.
