## What is SnapRu?

SnapRu is an app that uses image recognition to extract texts from screenshots of apps that don't allow you to select or copy texts.

You can easily copy and paste recipes, restaurant names, addresses, Twitter IDs, Instagram IDs, URLs, and whatever text information that you want to keep as your memo or search.

Note that the app may not be able to recognize text correctly because an accuracy of image recognition is not perfect, However, it's sure to greatly reduce the hassle of your inputting texts in manual .

### 2.0 — 2022-05-03

[New Features]
・Added History. Save up to 8 text recognition results in the past. This eliminates the need to repeatedly recognize the same image. It can be referenced from SnapRu App at any time. The results recognized by the shared extension are also saved as history.
・Added Original image check. You can check an original image which was recognized from SnapRu App. This is useful for checking whether characters are recognized correctly or for correcting errors in an extracted URL.
・Added New Line Removal. Even if a sentence is separated to two or more lines in an image, new lines in the separated sentences can be removed so the sentences are connected and it's easy to copy and paste and use the recognized sentence.

Note that these new features are available from SnapRu App but not available from Shared Extensions.
