Not a fan of the latest layouts and the way updates are handled. Way more cumbersome. Otherwise I will continue using ### 2/5 — Great free app *2026-10-24, version 4.1.7* I love this app however for the new iPhones I found that snapseed compresses and flattens the image. It becomes really flat and dark. Could this be fixed please? ### 4/5 — Review *2026-10-23, version 4.1.7* Usually kicks me out when editing raw, i don’t know why. Still a good app ### 2/5 — Horrible to look at and use! *2026-10-22, version 4.1.7* This app has now been ruined in terms of user interface and UX. I was prepared to put up with it because the actual image editing abilities are great - but with the new dreadful font choice for the logo and the way the tools are no longer as simple or intuitive to use like they used to be I’ve now deleted it from my iPhone. - - - - What I previously said about the older version (which was ace): “I'm a professional designer and semi-pro photographer and this is the best iphoneography app out there for editing quality shots on my ipad. I've tried a few but none give the quality results or are as slick or as easy to use as this. The new B+W update works much better and the ability to add vignettes via the revised focus tool is superb. ### 2/5 — Too many crashes *2026-10-22, version 4.1.7* The app often crashes upon export/saving of photos. Annoying. ### 5/5 — Me encanta *2026-10-22, version 4.1.7* Esta aplicación para acomodar mis fotos para mi espacio de uñas está increíble ### 5/5 — Beat photo editor *2026-10-21, version 4.1.7* P.S. ain’t got $h!t on snapseed I deleted the other one because no need for it with this amazing app! ### 5/5 — Đánh giá *2026-10-21, version 4.1.7* xin chỉnh lại là đã dùng app dc 11 năm :) đổi mọi loại máy luôn tải 22/10/26 ### 5/5 — Awesome *2026-10-21, version 4.1.7* This tool is great and very easy and straight forward for editing photos! I use it for almost every photo ### 5/5 — The best *2026-10-21, version 4.1.7* Hands-down for a free tool one of the best out there ### 5/5 — Amazing *2026-10-21, version 4.1.7* Best free editing app ever invented I love them so much ### 5/5 — Top!! *2026-10-20, version 4.1.7* La miglior app per l'editing in BW. Sono una fotografa professionista e per me, un bianco e nero impeccabile, è fondamentale. Alcuni comandi tipo "selettivo" sono indispensabili se si lavora su ritratto, ad esempio. Con questa app faccio tutto, non ho bisogno di altre app fotografiche. ### 5/5 — Great app *2026-10-20, version 4.1.7* Easy to use fantastic app love this app ### 5/5 — Genial *2026-10-20, version 4.1.6* Excelente apps para edición de fotos ### 4/5 — Great, but masking needs improvement *2026-10-20, version 4.1.6* Fantastic little app, great to play around in, yields good results very quickly. One major caveat: the masking system is unnecessarily limited; being able to copy/paste content into the mask channel, improved and duplicate masks to reuse them on multiple layers would truly boost the app's potential. ### 5/5 — Mejora todo *2026-10-19, version 4.1.6* Es una aplicación necesaria! Muy buena 🫶🏻 ### 5/5 — Simple But Powerful *2026-10-19, version 4.1.6* As a new jewelry designer, I need quality photos of my pieces. I’m not a photographer, or a photo editor, so I needed a tool with easy entry, and additional functionality as I got more comfortable. This is that exact tool for me. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — UIがゴミ *2026-10-21, version 4.1.7* UIがゴミすぎる。レイヤーの名前も変えられないので区別がつかない等々、こんなアプリを世に出して恥ずかしくないのだろうか ### 1/5 — Where is the face *2026-10-20, version 4.1.7* App not able to find face. Is it possible to attach file showing message placed over image of face? ### 1/5 — Update messed up everything *2026-10-19, version 4.1.6* An update happened and now I have lost all my previous edits . I usually use an image to create cards and posters. Now when I open the image to add different words all my edits are gone and I'm back to original photo. I cannot replace what I had formally created. 😡😡😡😡😡this used to be my favorite app. I've taught many people to use it. Not any more! ### 1/5 — Used to be my favorite *2026-10-14, version 4.1.5* I’ve used Snapseed for many years, but the latest update has ruined it. The newer interface is clunky and complicated, and edits I make look atrocious- highlights are dulled down no matter how I try to adjust them, there’s a weird cast on every image exported from the app, and tools feel less subtle- it literally makes photos look worse. ### 1/5 — Beware *2026-10-08, version 4.1.5* My 13 yo has been using this to edit clothes off photos of girls!! ### 1/5 — HORRIBLE *2026-10-01, version 4.1.4* Literally can’t do anything ### 1/5 — Terrible UI *2026-09-29, version 4.1.3* This latest update, I dunno how long it’s been out because I don’t use it much, has turned this app into something which was quick and easy into something needlessly complex. Why do we need to add photos to an album in order to edit them? I haven’t gotten any farther and at this point it may be time to delete it. ### 1/5 — 터치성형 *2026-09-28, version 4.1.3* 터치성형 되도록 해주세요 ### 1/5 — Mierda *2026-09-27, version 4.1.3* Es una aplicacion basura, el modo corrector funciona para la mierda, hace lo q quiere, horrible app ### 1/5 — Başarısız *2026-09-26, version 4.1.3* Leke silmekte başarısız bir uygulama ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Good *2026-10-25, version 4.1.7* App good ### 5/5 — The greatest *2026-10-25, version 4.1.7* This app is probably one of the best free photo editors out there. Super simple to use and so much heart put into the app development. Amazing job. ### 5/5 — Sửa ảnh *2026-10-25, version 4.1.7* Tuyệt vời ### 5/5 — A great easy to use editing app *2026-10-24, version 4.1.7* A great easy to use editing app 👍🏻 ### 5/5 — The best app there is! *2026-10-24, version 4.1.7* My go to app for very many years. It hasn’t failed me. A superb editing app! ### 5/5 — Yes *2026-10-23, version 4.1.7* Best photo editing app out. I got Snapseed back when it cost money but it’s free now but even better then ever:) ### 5/5 — Esta app es 😁 *2026-10-23, version 4.1.7* La mejor que uso en mi vida por siempre 🙏🏻♥️ ### 5/5 — Long time user *2026-10-23, version 4.1.7* Snapseed is the best app for editing I’ve found, and I’ve been loyal for years. The look of the platform has changed, but the tools get better and better. I love the functionality of saving your photos as the original or as a copy. There are so many helpful dimensions to this app including selective editing and masking! It’s like having Photoshop in your pocket. ### 5/5 — Picture *2026-10-23, version 4.1.7* Best edit app ### 5/5 — BEST FREEWARE *2026-10-23, version 4.1.7* The best freeware out there for editing pics --- *Data collected daily from the US App Store and indexed by [AppsHunter](https://appshunter.io/).
