## What is SnapSelect?

Stop scrolling. Start choosing.

Imported camera shots can disappear in a library full of iPhone photos, screenshots, and saved images. SnapSelect shortens the search before you post.

It checks EXIF and other shooting information on your device and pulls out only the shots from dedicated cameras. Seeing how many it found costs nothing. When you want them gathered, one tap creates a SnapSelect album in Photos, and you keep editing and sharing with the apps you already use.

FOUR SIMPLE STEPS

1. Allow access to your photos
2. Tap “Select now”
3. Review the camera photos it found, and how many
4. Tap “Create album” to collect them in the SnapSelect album in Photos

CHECK IT FOR FREE FIRST

Scanning your library, camera-photo detection, the result count, and browsing the extracted photos are all free. Before you buy anything, you can see exactly how many photos in your own library are worth organizing.

ONE-TIME PURCHASE, ONLY FOR THE ALBUM

Collecting the results into the SnapSelect album in Photos is unlocked with a one-time purchase. There is no monthly or annual subscription, and buying once keeps it forever.

WHY POSTING FEELS FASTER

• Find shots from mirrorless, DSLR, digital, and compact cameras
• Separate camera photos from iPhone shots and screenshots
• Review photos that could not be classified automatically
• See processed counts and results at a glance
• Scan every photo you have allowed the app to access

CLASSIFIED ON YOUR DEVICE

Photos, thumbnails, and EXIF shooting metadata are not sent to an external server for classification. SnapSelect never deletes, moves, or edits your originals. Adding a photo to an album does not create a duplicate file.

Made for photographers who import camera shots to iPhone and share travel, street, or everyday photography. Spend less time hunting and more time choosing the shot you want to share.

PLEASE NOTE

Editing, conversion, compression, transfer, or cloud syncing can remove shooting metadata, so some photos may be missed or classified incorrectly. Always review photos yourself before publishing, sharing, or deleting anything important.

If you grant limited photo access, SnapSelect only works with the photos you have allowed through iOS.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.2.2 — 2026-09-01

After a selection goes well, SnapSelect may ask you to rate it on the App Store.

The ask starts from the second time photos actually reach the SnapSelect album, and comes at most once per version. A result of zero photos, or photos that could not be added, is never a reason to ask.

How photos are detected and how the album is created are unchanged.

### 1.2.1 — 2026-08-28

You can now stop a selection partway through, even on a large library.

The selection screen has a new “Stop and see results” action. If it is taking a while, stop at any point and look at the camera photos found so far.

Photos checked so far are saved. The next selection picks up where you stopped instead of starting over.

The app also launches faster. Startup no longer waits for a network response, so the first screen appears quickly even on an unreliable connection.

### 1.2.0 — 2026-08-27

See what is in your library before you create the album.

Scanning your photo library, detecting camera photos, seeing how many were found, and browsing the extracted results are all available before you unlock. Start by checking how many camera photos are waiting in your own library.

Creating the SnapSelect album in Photos becomes available once you unlock it in the app.

If you bought an earlier version of SnapSelect, album creation keeps working exactly as before. If it does not carry over, tap “Restore purchase” in Settings.

### 1.1.0 — 2026-07-28

• Added support for Japanese, English, Spanish, French, Korean, Portuguese, and Simplified Chinese. The app automatically uses your device language.
• Terms of Use and Privacy Policy links now open in your device language.
• Improved the interface and overall usability.

### 1.0.1 — 2026-07-15

We supported English.
