## What is SnapSkincareAI?

Confused about layering your skincare — or how products interact with your medications?
SnapSkincare AI is your personal skincare safety check, powered by AI and FDA pharmaceutical data. Snap a photo of your products and get instant analysis:
- Product identification and key ingredients
- Ingredient conflict detection
- Medication interaction check — cross-referenced with FDA pharmaceutical data
- Morning and evening routine recommendations
- Application order and timing guidance
- Skin type suitability

Taking Tretinoin, Accutane, Doxycycline, or other medications? SnapSkincare AI flags potential interactions between your medications and skincare ingredients before they become a problem.

TAKE IT TO YOUR NEXT APPOINTMENT

Save a one-page summary of what you're using — products, key ingredients, your medications, and anything the analysis flagged — as a PDF you can print, email, or AirDrop straight to your dermatologist.

Built for someone to read in the two minutes before an appointment: what was flagged comes first, in plain black and white. It's created on your phone and never uploaded.

HAD A BAD REACTION? REPORT IT.

Adverse reactions to cosmetics and skincare are reported to the FDA by consumers — but the official form is long and easy to abandon. SnapSkincare AI gives you two ways through it, and you choose:

- Fill FDA's MedWatch form inside the app, with your product names and ingredients on hand so you don't have to go and find the bottle again
- Or answer a few questions and get a pre-filled copy of official FDA Form 3500B, ready to save, print, or mail

Report anonymously, or leave contact details — your choice. You stay in control: nothing is ever sent to the FDA on your behalf. You file it yourself, and your report is not stored on our servers.

FREE, AND NO ACCOUNT NEEDED

Every safety check, every report, and every summary is free. There's no sign-up, no login, and nothing to subscribe to.

For informational purposes only. This app does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult your dermatologist or pharmacist before changing your skincare routine while on prescription medication. If a reaction is severe or worsening, contact a doctor or your local emergency number.

### 5/5 — Great Skincare AI

*2026-04-04*

It analyzes products very well and includes everything on it with just one snap, definitely would recommend this app.

### 5/5 — One of best

*2026-04-03*

SnapSkincareAI is a modern skincare app that uses AI to analyze your skin and recommend products or routines. It’s easy to use and gives quick insights, which can be helpful for beginners trying to understand their skin better. However, like many AI-based skincare tools, the accuracy depends on photo quality and may not fully replace professional advice. Overall, it’s a convenient and innovative app, but best used as a guide rather than a final decision maker.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.3.1 — 2026-09-17

Simpler FDA reporting.

• You now choose how to report once, at the start. The app no longer asks
  again at the end.
• After your report is prepared, there is one clear action: save, print or
share your pre-filled FDA Form 3500B.
• Removed repeated text across the reporting screens.

### 1.3.0 — 2026-09-09

NEW — Take your results to your dermatologist

Save a one-page summary of your routine as a PDF: your products, their key
ingredients, your medications, and anything the analysis flagged. Print it,
email it, or AirDrop it straight to your doctor. It's built on your phone and
never uploaded.

NEW — Two ways to report to the FDA

You now choose how to file. Complete FDA's MedWatch form inside the app, with
your product names and ingredients on hand so you don't have to go and find the
bottle again — or answer a few questions and get a pre-filled Form 3500B to
print or mail. Either way you file it yourself; nothing is ever sent to the FDA
on your behalf.

NEW — Optional: help count real-world combinations

Which skincare and medication combinations people actually use together isn't
recorded anywhere — reactions are only counted after someone is harmed. You can
now contribute a de-identified record of the categories involved. It's off by
default, takes one tap, and stores nothing that identifies you: no photo, no
name, no brand, and not the medication you typed.

FIXED

- Photos chosen from your library sometimes failed to analyse. iPhone photos are
  now converted automatically before upload.
- Sharing a PDF could fail with a file access error.
- Assorted fixes to layout and readability throughout the reporting flow.

### 1.2.0 — 2026-09-07

NEW — Report a reaction to the FDA

Had a bad reaction to a product? SnapSkincare AI now prepares a completed FDA Form 3500B and a ready-to-paste summary in about three minutes. Report anonymously or with contact details — you file it yourself, and nothing is stored on our servers.

### 1.1 — 2026-04-27

New in v1.1: Medication Interaction Check - enter your prescription or OTC medications to receive AI-powered analysis of potential interactions with your skincare ingredients. Parallel analysis powered by FDA pharmaceutical data. New three-tab results view with Overview, Routine, and Med Check. Multi-product routine builder. Medical disclaimer included.

### 1.0 — 2026-04-03
