LABELS YOU CAN ACTUALLY READ Several badges were printed in colours that all but vanished into their backgrounds — the RECOMMENDED tag on the plan cards, and the counter showing how many scans you have left. Every one of them is legible now, in light mode and dark. A CLEARER FIRST RUN Setting up an account now leads with the thing that's easiest to miss: on Expert, you can list an item to eBay without leaving the app. It used to sit in the middle of a feature list looking like everything else. Happy reselling! ### 2.0.8 — 2026-08-06 Rare-find pricing, the evidence behind every valuation, faster multi-item capture, and more of your eBay workflow in the app. DEEP VALUATION FOR RARE FINDS When an item is rare enough that ordinary comps mislead — a designer piece, a short-run collectible — SnapWorth runs a second, slower valuation pass that prices the specific variant instead of the nearest lookalike. Rare finds get a badge, and the deep result leads the price with the marketplace range tucked behind it. Expert members get this on every qualifying find; Pro members get one free each month. SHARPER IDENTIFICATION • Comps have to match the actual item. Sold listings are checked against the maker, model and variant we identified, so a swarm of cheap lookalikes can't drag a genuine piece down. • Size counts. Tell us the dimensions and we price that size — a 6-inch and a 16-inch version of the same design are not the same item. • Refine remembers. The refine sheet pre-fills the maker, era and size we already found, so you're correcting rather than retyping. FASTER MULTI-ITEM CAPTURE • Select a batch straight from your gallery and every item is valued at once. • Photos of the same object are grouped for you, with one-tap Undo if we get it wrong. • Two items merged by mistake? "Not this item" splits them back apart — and it doesn't cost you a scan. MORE OF EBAY, IN THE APP • Publishing pre-fills Brand, Model and Type from the identification, so there's less to type. • Edit the price of a live eBay listing. eBay doesn't allow edits from its own site for app-published listings — now you don't need them. • End a listing with one tap, right from the item card. • Deleting an item that's live on eBay warns you first and offers to end the listing. STRAIGHT ANSWERS ABOUT PRICES • When we can't reach market data, we say so, instead of showing a price as though it had been checked against real sales. • Free scans reach the market again. They were giving up on the sold-listing lookup early and falling back to an estimate; now they get the time they need. • A valuation we couldn't verify no longer looks more confident than one we could. THE SALES BEHIND THE PRICE You used to be asked to trust a number. Now you can check it. • Tap to see the completed sales a valuation was built from — what each one sold for, when, and whether it went to auction or sold at a fixed price. • Bid counts too — fourteen people competing tells you more than one accepting an asking price. • "How we got here" shows what we threw out and why: different product, sold for parts, bundles, and the accepted best offers where eBay hides what was really paid. We say so plainly, rather than dressing a single sale up as a range. A QUIETER ITEM CARD The card was repeating itself — the same facts stated up to four times. It now says each thing once. • Prices agree wherever you see them. The range at the top of an item and its price targets could differ by a dollar; they no longer do, and a shared link now matches what you see in the app. WHEN EBAY PUSHES BACK • An eBay problem used to arrive as a wall of developer text. It now says what happened in one plain sentence. • Ending a listing eBay had already ended no longer looks like a failure — the card re-syncs and tells you the status was updated. • On a published item the actions stay on one row instead of spilling onto a second. Plus a little celebration when real sold comps push your item's value up — watch for the cash burst. We have also dropped the ".ai" — we are just SnapWorth now.
