What's New in Snippit

4.3.3

October 13, 2024

You can now edit the color on an existing tag, and there's more colors to choose from. This version also fixes an issue where using some colors on Mac caused the iOS app to fail to launch. When you select something in the sidebar, you can now add an extra filter using the little filter button next to the search bar. So you can now select something like your favourites, or a language, and then apply a second filter for tag/folder.

User reviews

Response from developer

Does What It Says

I like supporting indie developers (as a dev myself). A huge frustration with app design in general for me is the complexity and time it takes to do what the app says it should do.

This is not at all the case with Snippit. You can create snippets, tag them, and push them as gists. You can tag the snippet to provide further context. That’s it. That’s great.

Response from developer

Thank you for supporting an indie app. Keeping Snippit focused—save, organize, and reuse code without getting in your way—is exactly the goal. I really appreciate the thoughtful review.

How can I use another model for generating code instead of llama 3.2 3b?

Response from developer

Hi there! We're adding these in the next update 🙌🏻

Honestly Great

SoooOOoo good. Use this app all the time to organize my code segments. Also found use with this app for organizing my clipboard!

Response from developer

Thank you! It’s lovely to hear that Snippit has become useful for both code and clipboard organization. I really appreciate your support.
