### 4/5 — V good but some improvements needed

*2024-01-30, version 1.5.9*

This has the potential to be an excellent app but after using for a couple of days in the 3valleys, I would really push for the following improvements:

1) The routing is not 100%. In one case it seemed to suggest we take a cable car down instead of skiing down, which was a bit weird, but generally it was good.

2) Each instruction should be stated twice. You can ask Siri to repeat but it would be very useful to have each instruction stated a couple of times. Often you are focused on your skiing and it can be noisy with wind etc. I did have all the volume options set to max.

3) There should be more routing filters. For example we like to avoid cable cars where possible. If a route is then not possible - it should tell the user such.

4) Routing filters like red/blue/black pistes should have a ‘preferred’ option rather than a total elimination filter. We are good skiers but today we wanted a relaxed day skiing, so would be really useful to say: Please stick to blues if possible but red/black ok if needed.

4) Add suggested tours for each ski resort. Not essential but then you really don’t need to bother with a map. At the moment- it’s more like - decide where you want to go and the app will take you there.

Other than that it is actually a very good app and I would recommend to others. It takes half a day to get used to how it works etc.

### 5/5 — I think my followers will def download this

*2021-04-15, version 1.2.15*

Skiing in the snow with my friends was so much fun! Here's a picture of us using @SnoNavApp to track our speed and distance.

### 5/5 — The best ski apps to keep you safe while skiing or snowboarding

*2021-04-15, version 1.2.15*

SnoNav is the #1 app for snowsports enthusiasts, with so many features to help you get out there and enjoy the snow.

### 5/5 — I am positive you will like it

*2021-04-15, version 1.2.15*

I went snowboarding today and used my new favorite app, Snonav. It was so awesome!

### 5/5 — Seriously never lost reception and worked well.

*2021-04-14, version 1.2.15*

I'm a snowboarder and I love Snonav! It's the only navigation app that actually works on the slopes.

### 3/5 — Can’t wait for my mountain to be covered

*2021-03-31, version 1.2.14*

How do you get a chance to use your app yet it does not cover whitefish Montana I’m so bummed please let us know if we can help in anyway get whitefish on your map it would be awesome I know plenty of people who would love to use it if we can help in anyway let us know

### 4/5 — Potential

*2021-03-26, version 1.2.14*

I can’t test application right now due to COVID restriction in ski resort but I explored it.
Maps works well and are detailed.
With navigator, we can choose a place to join, which can be helpful if you lost your crew because you rode too fast, or just during your skitrip to discover the ski resort.

There are not enough French ski resort yet but I guess it will come later

A 3D map would be awesome to check some lines to ride in backcountry

### 5/5 — Most valuable app I’ve ever used

*2021-03-24, version 1.2.11*

I’ve never gotten so much value out of an app. Not until I received an email this morning telling me I’d won $350 through a raffle if entered by buying a Snonav day-pass!

Of course after such great news I couldn’t help but leave a good rating here but it was deserving of a 5-star review regardless. I used Snonav at Northstar in California and was able to have a much more enjoyable experience there knowing that I could “get lost” and simply pull out Snonav and plug my ear buds in when I was ready to return to a place of more familiarity.

Highly recommend using Snonav if you are going to a new resort and would like to have the peace of mind of knowing you won’t easily get lost.

### 5/5 — SNONAV like WAZE for Skiers and Snowboarders

*2021-03-23, version 1.2.11*

Thank you SNONAV. Finally an app to assist skiers and snowboarders in getting around the mountain with ease. We arrived at Beaver Creek for the month of March and with SNONAV we learned how to move about all 3 mountains in a day which would usually take 2-3 days to learn. We feel like locals thanks to SNONAV. Don’t get lost, get SNONAV. Best valued investment for our family trip. We can’t wait to go to Vail tomorrow to use SNONAV

### 5/5 — Super App

*2021-03-19, version 1.2.11*

This app is just so cool !!

### 4/5 — Cool idea, needs more slopes

*2021-03-17, version 1.2.10*

This is a well designed app and a great idea, but it seems to be focused more on the west coast. I would get a season pass if they added more East Coast resorts

### 5/5 — What a wonderful and functional app!

*2021-03-09, version 1.2.1*

The functionality is great. The user interface is also better than most other snow navigation apps too. It’s hard to find something that blends all of these together. Very excited to see how it progresses as the world discovers it.

### 4/5 — Very cool product

*2021-03-09, version 1.2.1*

This app is a really nice and convenient way to get around a ski mountain your unfamiliar with. It’s really easy to use and I recommend this app to anyone who skis.

### 5/5 — amazing app

*2021-03-09, version 1.2.1*

Amazing app and fantastic map

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Had its day

*2026-07-03, version 1.6.0*

This was a great programme which I used for 2 seasons to great affect. Now u think company has gone broke.

The error: "Tignes map download broken.

Keeps giving 'no such version 2.0.3 snonav' error on iOS.

And. Support emails are just bouncing."
RIP. Snonav

### 1/5 — Horrible app, literally NO SUPPORT

*2025-11-27, version 1.6.0*

Worst app in the App Store - if zero stars was an option, that would be my rating. They charge a subscription despite falsely listing resorts as being included even though once you download the app and pay for the subscription, you’ll find the resorts you want are NOT there.
Quite literally, NONE of the support or other contacts listed on their website work - all bounce back undelivered. Apple: REMOVE this bogus app, it should not be allowed!!!

### 1/5 — Do not buy until you know it covers your area! No IDAHO

*2025-01-15, version 1.5.9*

Does not do Sun Valley Idaho

### 1/5 — Is the app still current?

*2024-12-01, version 1.5.9*

Three of us are going skiing to the three valleys 14th December. We would like to use this app for navigation and the group features.

However, we initially understood that we could buy daily, or 6 day passes but the only option available is yearly at £20.This is far too expensive when there’s 3 licenses to purchase for only 6 days.

Please can you let us know if the daily or 6 day passes will be available again? The email on your website is not valid to ask the question.

### 1/5 — The will delete your negative review.

*2023-12-24, version 1.5.9*

Buyer beware

I had tried this app on several resorts. It didn’t work well. I left a negative review. They offered me a free subscription to change the review. They offered to take my feedback and make the app better. After not responding to my emails that they asked for I gave up.

Then they deleted my negative review!

Beware on what you read for this app. They only allow the positive reviews the be on this site. I have no idea how Apple allows this to happen!

Ski safe.

### 1/5 — I wish it worked.

*2022-12-08, version 1.5.9*

Great idea. I hope they work on it to make it functional . It’s hard to use and doesn’t keep up with you on the slope. My guess is they need better gps data on the slopes for each resort. I tried at deer valley, park city resort, big sky, vail and breck last season. I know most of these hills well and this app just didn’t work well.

update:

Got a response from Robert from support. Asking for details and offering help.
I emailed back providing details and willing to help them by actually offering to test and give feedback this season. No reply!

Again I love the concept but not only does it not work while skiing you can add to the negative list of no follow up from support.

### 1/5 — Only a few areas in database

*2020-12-17, version 1.0.9*

Doesn’t allow you to even learn what areas are in the app before you get it. Kind of worthless if you don’t happen to go to one of the few areas on the list.

### 2/5 — WAY too limited

*2021-02-15, version 1.1.8*

This is a super cool idea, but there’s only 32 mountains for the USA in their database. Unless you plan on going to basically Vermont, Colorado, or California, this app is pretty much useless.

### 2/5 — Limited

*2021-01-25, version 1.1.5*

Skiing is a major inter activity here in New Hampshire. How you have no NH mountains is beyond me. Won’t use this app unless you expand.

### 2/5 — Seems limited

*2020-12-29, version 1.0.18*

Seems to be pretty limited to mostly Vail
Resorts. Open it up more and allow all resort maps and it might be worth the bandwidth to download it.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Great 3d map and navigation

*2023-01-06, version 1.5.9*

Best ski navigation app I’ve found, 3d maps are smoother than FATMAP in my opinion and show you how wide the runs are.
The ability to drop pins for start and end points and chose types of runs to avoid is great for beginners and people useless at reading maps.

### 5/5 — Incredible product

*2022-12-23, version 1.5.9*

This is an amazing app that helped my group of friends and I who are all different ability levels to be able to ski together on our trip! Super easy to use and great quality of service!

### 5/5 — Game changing!

*2022-12-23, version 1.5.9*

I’m a novice skier and the first time I was at Big Sky I made a wrong turn and ended up on a trail that was way too difficult for me! Snonav makes sure this doesn’t ever happen and gives me ways to enjoy myself and meet up with friends and they can go have fun on the more challenging slopes! This is the tech skiing needed!

### 5/5 — SNONAV IS AMAZING

*2022-12-23, version 1.5.9*

We had to rush to the bottom of the mountain to get to my sons ski school pick up and we were in the back bowls, with no resort guide or helper insight and we had someone tell us to get snonav and it helped us get to him at the bottom of the mountain just in time for his pick up. THANK YOU SNONAV!!!!

### 5/5 — Wow 3D maps are awesome

*2022-12-12, version 1.5.9*

What a great app for keeping track of my kids on the mountain!

### 5/5 — 3D Maps abs Snogroups

*2022-02-08, version 1.5.4*

The new 3D map update made it super easy to find where you are on the mountain, and the Snogroups feature made it an ease to find my friends that were scattered all around! Great update!!! 10/10 recommend!

### 5/5 — Brilliant idea!

*2022-02-08, version 1.5.4*

What an awesome idea - so helpful, particularly in big ski areas you don’t know. I’ve been using this app in Serre Chevalier, France and can’t wait to try it out in some more of the big European ski areas. Loving the new 3D mapping feature too.

### 5/5 — 3D maps!

*2022-02-07, version 1.5.4*

Just got back from a trip to the Alps. Snonav was super helpful in routing around from village to village and the complex lift systems. The new 3D mapping is amazing. So much easier to see your orientation and how the trails connect. We had a large amount of pepper skiing so snogroups was supper useful to help us see where each other were and to find each other on the mountain.

### 5/5 — What you need to know before riding the mountain

*2021-04-15, version 1.2.15*

Skiing is one of the most fun sports in my opinion, and with this app I can record all my trips ?

### 5/5 — Must hvae for ski bums like myself

*2021-04-15, version 1.2.15*

Getting ready to hit the slopes! heard about snonav and looks like some cool technology
