The scheduler could use some improvement. ### 3/5 — Great Fan, Limited App *2026-01-11, version 2.9.0* I love my Snooz so much I bought a second one, which is when the app limitations became apparent. I have two units in the same room and I’d really love to “pair” them so I can control them both from the same screen instead of swapping back and forth from one device to the next to set them on the same schedule. It doesn’t look like the app is updated anymore, so I won’t hold my breath. ### 3/5 — Great sound, basic features *2025-11-08, version 2.9.0* The machine’s sound is great and I love having it in my room. My dog loves it too! She knows that sound means it’s bedtime. But I’m so tired of this app randomly and repeatedly losing the Bluetooth connection. When that happens, you have to unplug the unit and plug it back in. Also, not having an Apple watch app for this seems a little behind for a product that sells a couple of sizes already. I have the travel SNOOZ as well and even though it’s not as good as the full-sized one, it’s much better than using your phone or some random white noise app. Again, I can’t seem to even ADD my travel SNOOZ to my app (at least it was not available as an option last time I tried) which is pretty basic for an expensive white noise machine. The most aggravating thing is the Bluetooth dropping thing. It’s always and when you have to literally move furniture to get to the plug for the SNOOZ, it’s a major hassle! ### 4/5 — Daylight savings *2025-11-02, version 2.9.0* Needs to take into account daylight savings time. It went off an hour earlier than expected this morning. Was hoping to get done extra sleep but the sound went off an hour early due to daylight savings time change. ### 2/5 — Please fix! So much potential *2025-07-28, version 2.9.0* The actual machine’s potential is 5 stars, but for $100, you’d expect complete control via the app. Unfortunately, the app is incredibly basic. The volume control is choppy, causing my kid to wake up as I try to gradually turn it down. While there’s a fade option, it’s only available when the machine is scheduled and can only be used to turn the machine off or on. It would be great if the fade option could be used manually or scheduled, allowing you to fade the volume from a high level to a low level over a period of, say, 10 minutes or vice versa. Additionally, it would be ideal if the machine could use its built-in sound monitor to detect crying and gradually increase the volume until the crying stops for about 5 minutes. Then, it could gradually fade back down to a low level. Finally, adding complex schedules or multiple schedules would be a nice feature. Overall, the machine is great, but please fix the app to fully utilize its potential! Update: still no fade option. No. Also it’s slow to connect to a machine 5’ away. ### 2/5 — Need simultaneous multi device support *2025-01-23, version 2.9.0* Needs to be able to control groups of snooz at once and not have to connect individually. Also the app doesn’t work sometimes. And when it does it takes too long to connect. Extremely annoying. ### 3/5 — Multiple simultaneous timers needed *2024-11-20, version 2.9.0* Decent app, I like the ability to calibrate the noise with my phone to ensure safe sound levels for the nursery. Requesting an enhancement - I need to set multiple timers. One for the night to turn off automatically and one in the morning to turn on. Unfortunately the app only allows one timer per day. The good about this one is the it automatically starts at at schedule time and also schedule off, m not only that, I start it at volume 3 at 10 PM and at 12 am I set it to go higher (7), and then off at 7 am, you can have multiple on/off ### 2/5 — Limited scheduling functionality *2024-03-04, version 2.9.0* Please allow multiple schedules writing the same days. For example, I want to turn the unit on Monday-Friday at 05:00, off at 08:00, them on again at 17:00 and off at 23:00. Currently it seems I cannot do this. ### 3/5 — Great app, but the scheduler hasn’t been reliable. *2024-02-27, version 2.9.0* I’ve had my Snooz Pro for a couple of weeks now and love it. The app is super easy to use and really clean which I great. My only complaint is the scheduler. The first week with it and it worked as expected. Going into week two, it just doesn’t. It will either not turn the Snooz on or it it won’t turn it off according to schedule. I had two schedules set up. Both turned on at the same time, but each were set to turn off at a different time (earlier on weekdays, a little later on weekends). I’ve delete both and restarted the app to re-create a new schedule. Hopefully that will work because the scheduler seems like it would be one of the biggest selling points of the app outside of remote control. ### 5/5 — Sleepy *2024-01-25, version 2.9.0* It’s been a lifesaver. My husbands snores and several nights a week I’d have to sleep somewhere else. The white noise cancels out his snoring. Or most of it. I tried all of their suggestions including unplugging and plugging the device, restarting the phone, reinstalling the app. Nothing works. It’s just a badly designed app. I can’t believe I paid 115 dollars for this. The thing just won’t turn on as scheduled. The customer support gave me some vague info about placement. It is in my room near my phone and not far from the router. Very frustrating, particularly if you’re laying in the bed and the device is across the room! ### 1/5 — SNOOZ *2018-10-04, version 2.2.1* This app didn’t let me even get into the app ### 1/5 — Not usable without start/stop schedules (screenshots are misleading!) *2017-12-02* Update: the screenshots are misleading, it shows a scheduled start and stop time, I was told by Support this was coming, but it has been over 1 year, starting to suspect the device lacks the components necessary to do this (internal clock etc). I have stopped using it completely, as without schedules start/stop it is near useless. A 30$ white noise machine with a wemo plug is far more functional. Love the sound levels, but am going to stick with my current white noise due to scheduling capabilities. With a WeMo plug I can schedule my current white noise to turn on and off on a schedule. Snooz currently only allows for scheduling the off (not on) time. Since it is not a physical switch, I can't even use snooz with the wemo. Don't like the idea of having to remember to turn it on every night. **Developer response:** The scheduled start/stop timer is available for the current version of SNOOZ. Sincere apologies that we weren't able to get it worked into Gen 1 - we tried, but needed to make some firmware changes - when possible, please contact us at cs@getsnooz.com. ### 1/5 — Bluetooth issues *2017-11-03, version 2.0.0* The latest version has broken Bluetooth. 90% it won’t find it or connect. Have deleted and reset up several times with no success. Love that you don’t need any accounts to make it work on schedules, love the ability to enable a smart plug mode. This is awesome! Two suggestions for the makers of the machine 1. Make an auto-off option, I know you support schedules. but I would love a mode where I can have the machine on for x amount of time after I turn it on. Let’s say I want it to turn off an hour after I last interact with it. Maybe you can add the functionality by tapping on both the plus and minus buttons at the same time. that can set that auto off period to 1, 3 or 6 hours depending on the number of taps. No need to change hardware to do this. Just firmware! 2. I was going to say add home assistant support but I see it’s already there! Especially if you love the sounds of a fan or plane cabin. But I do have one suggestion for the app developers…let us choose a volume number for each of our scheduled times. I like my volume to be set at 2 during the day, but at night time I want it to be a 5 or 6. Would be cool if it just did it via the schedule. If you are like me, electronic sound machines loop and I can always (for some reason) pick up the loops that keep me awake. This does not do that. The app is great since you can setup multiple schedules, check the dB level to ensure you have the right level, etc. Only one thing is that I hope the developer adds the app to the Apple Watch. You can adjust the fan speed and set schedules for the device to come on and shut off.
