## What is Snowballer?

See the month you'll be debt-free. The payoff plan and your debt-free date are free — forever.

Add your debts, set what you can pay each month, and Snowballer builds your debt snowball: smallest balance first, or highest interest first if you prefer the avalanche. Log a payment and watch the date move closer.

YOUR PAYOFF PLAN — FREE
• Your debt-free month, computed from real payoff math
• Snowball (smallest balance first) or avalanche (highest APR first)
• What-if chips: see what an extra $25 a month does to your date
• What's due next: every bill and minimum payment in date order
• A home screen widget with your debt-free month and the debt you're attacking next
• Share your progress: a card with your date, percent paid and the day of your journey — with the dollar amounts hidden if you'd rather
• Milestones, and confetti when a debt hits zero
• Your date is a projection from what you enter, and it updates every time you log a payment

TRACK SPENDING WITHOUT TYPING
• Scan receipts and bank-statement screenshots — no manual entry
• Budgets, categories, trends, and a monthly net view
• Apple Pay auto-capture with a Shortcut

SNOWBALLER PLUS (optional subscription)
$4.99/month or $39.99/year, with a 14-day free trial for new subscribers. Renews automatically until you cancel.
• Bank sync (US banks) — transactions and balances import themselves
• Custom payoff order, per-debt exclusion, and Dial-a-Date: pick a payoff month, get your monthly number
• Find my snowball — recurring charges, and what cutting them does to your date
• A monthly AI read of your spending
• CSV export of your plan and payoff schedule

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
• Your payoff plan and debt-free date are free — Plus adds automation and deeper tools
• No ads, and we never sell your data
• Delete your account and all data anytime, right from the app

Small wins, snowballs.

### 5/5 — Super helpful

Consolidating features into one app takes the stress away from having to remember where to track my day-to-day activities. I particularly like the receipt reading function!

**Developer response:** Taking the stress out of remembering where to track everything is the whole idea — so glad it's landing, and that you're enjoying the receipt scanner. Thanks for the thoughtful review! 🙏

### 5/5 — Very Convenient!

*2026-06-23*

This is my new favorite app! It’s combined with habit tracking, and money/budget tracking which is very cool. I don’t need to go on multiple or separate apps anymore! With snowballer i can do it all in one and i can also customize my habits which makes it more fun to use. Habits and money doesn’t always have to be boring you can level it up and adjust it to your liking , add a couple of emojis and different colors and that’s it! I find this app very convenient! I hope more people talk about this app and start using it to help build better habits. If you are a parent, this is also a good tool to teach your kid how to balance money and how to budget in a cool way.

**Developer response:** This absolutely made my day. Everything in one place, habits you can level up and make your own, no more juggling separate apps — you described exactly what Snowballer is meant to be. And I love the idea of it helping kids learn to budget too. Thank you for being one of the reasons I keep building this. 🙌

### 5/5 — Love this app

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.9.2 — 2026-09-17

Share your progress. Tap "Share your progress" on the Payoff tab — or "Share this" when a debt hits zero — for a card with your debt-free month, percent paid and the day of your journey. One switch hides every dollar amount, and account numbers never appear on it.

Also in this update
• Put your debt-free date on your home screen: after your first plan, Snowballer shows you how to add the widget
• With notifications on, the morning after your first plan brings a reminder with your actual debt-free month
• If your first plan can't show a date yet, you won't be asked to upgrade until it can
• What's due next: your bills and minimum payments in date order on the Payoff tab
• New accounts get the latest improvements from their very first session

### 1.9.1 — 2026-09-16

Connecting a bank at Chase or Fidelity now brings you back to Snowballer when you finish — no more being left on your bank's website wondering whether it worked.

Also in this update
• The home screen widget no longer cuts off your card's last four digits
• Lock Screen widgets hide your balance until you unlock
• Sharing several screenshots at once is faster and no longer gets stuck
• A bank transaction filed as a transfer can be corrected to real income — handy when you cash out an investment — and Snowballer remembers for next time

### 1.9.0 — 2026-09-06

Rebuilt from the very first screen.

• New onboarding — see your debt-free date in about a minute. No need to enter every debt before you get an answer.
• Find your debts automatically — link a bank and Snowballer pulls balances and rates in for you to review.
• Dial-a-Date now drags smoothly without fighting the tab swipe.
• Spending insights — tap the small-categories slice to see exactly what's inside it.
• Clearer Plus badges, plus fixes to bank sync, category learning, and due-date reminders.

### 1.8.0 — 2026-08-22

This is the big one. Snowballer is now a debt payoff app — with your habits as the accelerator.

YOUR PAYOFF PLAN
• Add your debts and see the exact month you'll be debt-free
• Snowball or avalanche order — or drag them into any order you want
• Log a payment and watch the date move
• Try any extra amount before you commit to it

ON YOUR HOME SCREEN
• A widget with your payoff progress, the debt you're knocking out next, and your debt-free date
• Lock Screen and Smart Stack, too

MONEY, SHARPER
• Find my snowball: spots your recurring charges and prices each one in months off your payoff date
• Savings goals, 6-month spending trends, category breakdowns, and your net position — savings minus debts
• A Sunday recap of your week
• Auto-log Apple Pay purchases with a Shortcuts automation — amount and merchant only, never card data
• Share a screenshot from your bank app straight into Snowballer to import a batch of transactions

HABITS
• The Habits tab is now opt-in — turn it on in Settings if you want it, ignore it if you don't
• A second app icon you unlock by paying off your first debt

And Snowballer Plus, a new subscription for the deeper tools: custom payoff order, dial-a-date, CSV export, and full amortization tables.

Start small. Stay consistent. Let it snowball.

### 1.5.0 — 2026-07-31

This one is all your feedback — thank you for sending it.

• Pick a transaction date from a calendar instead of typing it out
• Recurring transactions can now repeat weekly, every two weeks, quarterly or yearly — not just monthly
• Choosing a category is now a clean list instead of a wall of buttons
• Transactions sort by when they happened, not when you entered them
• New Food Delivery category — and DoorDash and Uber Eats stop landing in the wrong one. Rideshare apps stay rideshare
• Clearer, consistent dates across the Money screen
