Almost exactly what I was after for my next snow trip. This app has immense potential. Would be great to see an Apple Watch app to complement this fantastic app, particularly with the new gps and cellular facilities of the Watch. Could leave the phone at home and only carry the Watch during skiing or boarding. Features I would like to see: real time speed, altitude, slope angle and fitness integration. It provides a great way to find your friends on the mountain. It also provides in considerable detail a record of your days skiing. For those with a competitive inclination, the leaderboard is a lot of fun. Precise run layouts and an awesome way of seeing where my mates are. Detailed lift info and wether conditions helped us maximise our days on the slopes. Downloaded it to compare and it looks like a 1st grader made this map for a school project. The background is white? Do you expect people to see the lines if it's sunny out? Please stick to your other apps and give this a rest. FATMAP is light years ahead of this thing. ### 2/5 — You could do better *2019-02-22, version 3.0.191* This is great idea but just a prototype. I downloaded it to give it a trial over some of the other ski apps but honestly after skiing with it, I don't think I would use it again. I don't mind paying for the more expensive ski apps if they fully track and offer more functionality. You can message them, see where they are and look at the daily leaderboard. It measures stats well too. ### 5/5 — See your resort and view the details for each run *2021-12-08, version 3.0.16* In addition to tracking your runs, SnowZat provides a 3-D map of your resort. Zoom in on specific runs or lifts and tap on them to see the details. During the long dry summer, I’d look at the maps of various mountains and check out the details for various runs. It is interesting to see how some mountains categorize one run as black diamond while others categorize an equivalent run as blue intermediate. Update Dec 7 2021: Please consider putting the resort Ski Patrol number on the app for whatever mountain the app user is visiting that day. Even better- a button to call Ski Patrol in the event of an emergency. It is surprisingly common for bystanders to stand around an injured skier with no idea how to contact Ski Patrol and request help. Great app!
