Constant problems with connection and I regularly need to ask people to go to my house to operate the mat manually. So bad I’m going to stop using the mat and install a wall heater in the kitchen. Would be zero stars if there was an option. ### 1/5 — Useless *2021-12-28, version 2.08* Put simply, the App only works when your at home. Anything to do with being away from your home such as holiday mode, geo location etc. simply doesn’t work. Was promised an update months ago - still waiting. If I’d have known this fundamental part of controlling your heating system was so flawed I would have bought Tado thermostats ### 1/5 — Kills battery and horrible controller *2021-11-11, version 2.08* The app is badly designed. Looks terrible and over a 24hr period used 5hrs of battery with only 1 minute of screen time. ### 1/5 — Not good at all. *2021-08-08, version 2.08* Could not get the app to link how it says in instructions but got working by just messing about for an hour. Now it working half the app graphics are missing and it crashes and or freezes. Difficult to know where to start with this truly abysmal app. I tried each of the 3 ways of linking the app with the controller, all failed. I now have 3 instances of the controller on my phone, all with a helpful label saying ‘fault’. I can’t delete any of them. Some dialog boxes appear with only chinese options. Wifi won’t let you register if your wifi doesn’t have a password. Awful, awful, awful, avoid like the plague. ### 1/5 — Crashing *2020-12-20, version 2.04* Just bought the WiFi thermostat so I could control my heating with the app. The app worked for one day then crashes every time I try to open it. This needs to be sorted ASAP or I need a refund for the WiFi thermostat as it’s pointless without a working app. ### 1/5 — Abysmal app and support *2020-12-19, version 2.04* Abysmal app and even worse support. It’s like they have given up on it. The app itself has some issue with the text not showing up so you can guess your way through menus as it magically reappears once you have clicked it, but then as you are getting close to actually doing anything, the app itself will just shut down. Spoke to customer service, they claimed it was working fine, I sent screenshots and they ignored me herein. So I thought I would write a review on the small chance someone might read this before investing a “smart system”. The underfloor heating and the stats themselves are quite good, just steer clear if you are looking for a system you can control via your phone, and even more so if you are expecting Alexa voice control, it’s not even worthy of a mention as it practically doesn’t exist. ### 1/5 — This app really is terrible *2020-12-15, version 2.04* Honestly, if it wasn't for the unintuitive GUI and poor cosmetic design (labels blending into images) all of the bugs make this unusable. I don't know how many times I've set a schedule and then hit save, only to go back in and see the schedule has not been saved. ### 1/5 — No longer works *2020-12-09, version 2.04* We’ve been using this app for a few months. Previously on my iPhone 7 it worked but since upgrading to the new iPhone it just won’t load, even after uninstalling and reinstalling. After that God knows what happened we can not operate the thermostat from any mobile phone, it doesn't work from Samsung or iPhone at all. And the problem is there is NO updating system. BIG PROBLEM the company has NO interest to fix it? Didn’t U guys go and check how your so called App working or not?? Please fix the problem and give us the solution. We paid lot of money to set it, for God's sake. Giving 1star becoz it's not letting me post my horrible experience. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Pointless App *2025-12-13, version 4.0.3* It doesn’t do anything! Complete waste of time. I paid extra for the wifi model expecting to be able to set and change the schedule remotely particularly as I found the buttons on the actual thermostat difficult to adjust as everything is so small so if you have fingers larger than a child’s you’ll be there for hours. But you can’t do that. The only function I can see is the ability to change the temperature. The extra money for the wifi model isn’t worth it. Stear clear is my advice! ### 1/5 — Worst app in history of apps *2025-12-07, version 4.0.3* Terrible from start to finish especially in the winter ofcorse... if i could rate -1 star i would. Dismal ### 1/5 — 0 stars!! *2024-11-03, version 3.2.0* Give one star as I can’t give 0, but this app does not work at all, I have tried so many different ways to connect it to my phone. Once it connects it doesn’t work at all. I have now given up!!! ### 1/5 — Worst app ever *2024-01-28, version 3.2.0* If I’d have known how bad the app was I would never have got this system. It’s awful, can’t even describe everything that’s wrong about it. Avoid ### 1/5 — Unresponsive app that doesn’t work consistently *2023-11-23, version 3.2.0* Have found it’s totally hit and miss whether the app picks up a stat or not (I have 5). Most of the time any changes you make to temperature is ignored and if you do manage to get a response to turn off it’s total luck if you can get it back on. It’s the worst home app experience I’ve ever seen, totally unreliable. ### 1/5 — Very poor *2023-10-04, version 3.1* I’ve been using the app for 4 months now. It’s been installed in a new house. The wall stats are pretty good when you get them connected to the Wi-Fi as it takes some time to get them all working but the app is so “clunky” I’ve pretty much given up on even bothering with it. ### 1/5 — Not good…. *2023-05-15, version 3.1* Sorry to say that this app is absolute rubbish. Won’t even connect to wi-fi.
