## What is SnugStories?

SnugStories is a story recording and listing app designed to do two things really well:
• Recording new stories quickly and easily (grandma and grandpa tested)
• Choosing and listening to stories easy enough for anybody to use (3 year-old tested) - you should be able to hand your phone to your child and they can do the rest without learning.

If you read to your kid(s), this is a must-have. Anybody can record while reading and then save the story for later or share.

Quiet time or nap time?
•  Put some kid-friendly headphones on and hand them the app. It was specially designed for little hands. 
•  You can customize how the app works so it keeps your kiddos in the stories and not poking buttons/getting distracted.

Away for work or in a late-night meeting you can't escape? 
• Using the app during bedtime mean your kiddos can hear your voice and see your face when they listen to a story you read.

First days on the school bus can be scary. It's a big change for many. If they're looking for a little familiarity or company while they ride, why not listen to your family read a story or two?

What isn't it?
• We don't provide any stories or copyrighted material. 
• You rely on your family and friends to record the stories and send them along.

I built this because we have so many books our 3 year-old loves and sometimes mom or dad can't read stories at bedtime or our kiddo needs a story for quiet time. It's easy to fit this into our nighttime routine, too. We already read two books before bedtime, so now we just set the phone aside and press "record".

### 5/5 — Fantastic way to connect with my grandchildren

I can’t imagine life without having my grandchildren (5yr old and 1.5 yr old) close by but when they aren’t in my lap reading stories, this makes it so easy to stay connected!  I recorded two stories so far and can’t wait to expand the bookshelf. It was so easy and I love that I can add my own pictures so they can see them as they listen to me read.  I wish I had this a while ago as I have done this via video and fumbled along holding the phone and trying to turn the pages as well as clogging up storage. Thank you, MyDogHatesTechnology!
