The Snyper Trail Camera App provides you with cloud based storage for your pictures freeing up space on your phone.  The App provides you with activity graphs to pin point when deer are active on your property.  You are able to view the most active hours and days based on real time activity reported from your Snyper cameras.  The App also allows you to update your settings on the camera remotely.

The camera is complete junk and the app is super glitchy. I bought the camera to use as security for job sites but the alerts only occasionally work, basically makes it useless for me.

Using the camera at a job site.  I have to re-enter the login credentials about every 2 to 3 times I open the app on iPhone.  Very annoying!

First installed the app a couple of years ago and it worked ok. Over the past year the app has been terrible. First the smart notifications screen was blank and wouldn’t ever load. The the app quit working so I uninstalled and attempted to reinstall, only to discover that it had been removed from the App Store. I contact customer service and after several days received an email suggesting that I change the setting in the camera to send photos to email rather than to the app. Thanks. A few weeks later the app was back in the App Store, but smart notifications are still blank screen, and now I receive an “unknown error” when I try to add a user. Bottom line:  Don’t waste your money on the Snyper cameras because the app is garbage.

I get the circle of death every time I log in. I will be switching cameras next go round.

Nowhere near the user friendliness as the Spartan app. Would love to be able to share my camera with a few friends. I have been trying to share my camera for a few years and nobody ever gets the email. 

The app is slow.  When you delete pictures it takes you back out to the picture thumbnails (which is fine unless you are 50 pics in and end up losing your place). Would be nice to have a read/unread mark on the thumbnail to know if you have viewed the pics. 

Can we make the app where it automatically signs in? Not the end of the world here but it’s just one more step that could be avoided with a little program writing.

Having used Arlo cameras (Wifi) and their app, and now using this app, there is a lot to be desired. 
App description says you can change camera settings. Not so. 
There should be an option to be able to open a “live feed” of the camera. 
Tried to change password but that option isn’t even available...

This worked well last year. This year not so much. App needs updating. Customer service is awful. No one answers the phone and if you leave a message they won’t return the call. It’s unfortunate that not all companies are serving their customers well. If you have other options you might consider going elsewhere.
