### 5/5 — Excellent

*2011-12-14, version 1.01*

After playing this game for a total of 3 minutes, I am happy to report that this game, similar to enviro bear, is a true piece of art. When comparing this masterpiece to michelangelo this game wins by miles. The single developer is clearly really high when he makes this stuff though. Don't even bother looking at screenshots though, just buy the game. You will smile (if you have lips that is) I garuntee it.*

### 5/5 — Gameplay gold

*2011-12-11, version 1.01*

I have gotten more laughs out of this game than any other on the iPad. It takes the concept of Oregon Trail waaaay out into left field ... and then assaults it and gives it typhoid fever, gangrene, measles, and dysentery, then leaves it in a ditch to starve, cackling madly the entire time, like this: WHEEHAHAHAHAHAHAAAHAHAAAA(cough)AHAHAHAHA!

The Donner Party "challenge" seemed impossible until I realized that I could SHOOT the lost hikers AND THEN EAT THEM.

ProTip: slow down when you hit El Dorado or you will fall off the edge of the world.

This game rocks.

### 2/5 — addicting but....

*2011-09-12, version 1.01*

Some of it is HORRIBLE! Like theres random flying animals that you shoot and flying snakes! thats so stupid! please change that!

### 5/5 — A adult homage to a old school classic

*2011-07-31, version 1.01*

BIG FUN! I'm wasting my life with this: the graphics you remember, funny electronic soundtrack, unwieldy dexterity challenge, fast paced, hilarious farce, fun lil mini challenges, too. I RECOMMEND.

### 5/5 — Underrated

*2011-05-05, version 1.01*

I think the negative reviews on this game are due to people having the wrong expectations. This isn't Oregon Trail. The gameplay is more like Excitebike with a little bit of shooter thrown in. Absolutely worth the money, doesn't deserve the bad ratings.

### 4/5 — Update!!!

*2010-09-12, version 0*

Seriously, this isn't working at all. Can't get past open feint. Please repair bug

### 4/5 — Awesome!

*2010-09-08, version 0*

What a fun spin on the classic. Still wish a developer would bring outrun classic, not that Crap other game on Gerry

### 5/5 — Pure awesomeness

*2010-09-02, version 0*

It doesnt get much better than this. If you ever played the first Oregon Trail you must buy this game. It's like something a 7 year old would dream up on a sugar buzz. I laugh every time I play. Almost as good as Enviro Bear. Almost.

### 4/5 — Truthful!

*2010-09-01, version 0*

As a peer-reviewed Oregon Trail historian who has written many, many books, I can personally attest to the accuracy of this game. Far and above the best rendition of real life in the Old West on the Oregon Trail (about which I am an expert on), this game truly shows, in stunning color, the harsh realities of our forefathers lives.

### 5/5 — Awesome

*2010-08-31, version 0*

If you are 17 or younger you wont get it. The gameplay is not something you really master. In fact if you try you may get frustrated. Its just supposed to be fun.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — DONT BUY THIS GAME

*2018-09-01, version 1.24*

This game is definitely not worth your money, sometimes you can’t even leave the starting area, because of the mountains.

### 1/5 — Unplayably Buggy

*2017-01-10, version 1.23*

The game has got a lot of charm to it just like the other apps that Blinkbat has to offer. Any OT fan would be drawn to this game. It's a very short game but it comes with 5 or 6 different challenges making it a fairly enjoyable app. But, as is, it's is unplayably buggy. I believe I was able to get through the original game just fine (which takes about 2 minutes...). The "side quests" are all horribly broken. The controls malfunction every time, making it impossible to complete the challenge. It's disappointing that Blinkbat hasn't fixed this game yet, it'd be a decent game if the controls worked.

### 1/5 — Don't do it!

*2016-11-05, version 1.23*

Button gets stuck constantly so you can't even play it. Waste of money

### 1/5 — Horrible

*2016-02-05, version 1.23*

Do not pay for this game! It wouldn't let me do anything so I just had to watch it run and kill everyone. Not worth paying for!

### 1/5 — No

*2014-07-20, version 1.2*

You'd think for 2 whole bucks they could fix the simple glitches!

### 1/5 — Terrible

*2013-05-14, version 1.01*

I was just playing it and when I was about to finish the game it did this weird thing where it kept going foreword. This game is really bad, don't pay all your money on this game!

### 1/5 — Bad

*2012-01-03, version 1.01*

One of the worst games ever but you should get Origen trail American settle and just Origen trail not a not part of the makers just a opinion

### 1/5 — Don't waste your money

*2011-07-16, version 1.01*

If I could give this app 0 stars I would. It's nothing like Oregon Trail. It's not even a fun game set aside from Oregon trail. The graphics remind me of the old Atari games from the 80's only worst. It doesn't give you any options for anything. The people who say the game is any fun what so ever absolutely work for the developer. If you don't want to take my word for it, go ahead and waste your money. I usually don't leave reviews, but this one was well worth my time to warn everyone about this utterly ridiculous app.

### 1/5 — Fix the bug

*2010-12-29, version 0*

Won't start gets to a white screen but won't load past

### 1/5 — Open feint is crashing the game constantly

*2010-10-03, version 0*

It's all in the title, as soon as the game starts it freezes on the open feint window making the game unplayable. One star until this is fixed, absolutely shoddy work.

P.S....It gives you option to play the historical version in the challenges😍

### 5/5 — A Glaring Bug In The Face of Glory

*2014-02-20, version 1.2*

This is my favorite iOS game ever! Others have come and gone but this one keeps coming back. It's stayed installed for over a year and I play at daily. Unfortunately, there is a bug currently where the forward or backward button will get stuck. This is kept me from finishing multiple sessions and has been a real bother. If you don't have this game, do yourself a favor and get it. Hopefully the bug will be fixed soon.

### 5/5 — I thought this game was abandend

*2014-02-08, version 1.2*

0_o yay update.

### 5/5 — Yes!!!

*2014-01-14, version 1.2*

### 5/5 — realism

*2014-01-10, version 1.2*

i passed history class because of this game would give six stars if possible

### 5/5 — Hilarious

*2013-05-10, version 1.01*

This game is a riot, especially if you played the original Oregon trail as a kid.. Someone was on a lot of drugs when they made this game.

### 5/5 — Luv it!!🌹🌹

*2013-03-26, version 1.01*

Great game!! Wish there were more challenges though!!!

### 5/5 — Amazing

*2012-07-04, version 1.01*

I don't see how people don't like this; I mean seriously, they have flying snakes and natives that curse your horse so it goes backwards!

### 5/5 — Thanks Justin

*2012-04-04, version 1.01*

Another good game. Has an issue of blinking stripe at top of the screen on on ipad3, a fix would be great

### 5/5 — Almost too real

*2011-12-15, version 1.01*

You can tell by the screenshots exactly what you're in for, stark times in an unknown and dangerous wilderness.

Makes a person thankful we live in a much more luxurious age.
