This may be circumstantial evidence, but moving from apps like Tinder, PoF, OkCupid where I found a lot of fake accounts or SWs which I’m not looking for. I even met someone I really mesh well with. That said, there are definitely fake accounts here. I had one match I couldn’t find for free, eventually caved to pay so I could see them and it turned out to be from some far off country with one picture and no bio. Shortly after though I met someone, so there’s that. ### 2/5 — Sadly, I will likely delete *2023-05-26* This app is a good idea, so I added a star. I’ve honestly been the least grossed out by suggested matches, but they’re all 500 miles away. If you go to the closest setting nobody shows up. Add to that there is a paywall to see who liked you and I’m so turned off I’m going to delete it. Why would I buy before I try? Especially with all the bad reviews… from two years ago to the present, all saying similar things?!? It hasn’t improved during that time, so why would anyone pay for that? I agree with other reviewers that there should be enough free stuff to try it out to see if you like it, like capping the number of likes u can see for free, messages, etc. Sad because the idea is so good… this would have been my go to choice. ### 2/5 — Poor execution *2023-02-11, version 4.4.04* The concept is interesting but the app itself is bad. Just keep getting shown the same 10ish people over and over again no matter how many times I pass on them and performance in general is not great. Right now after each bio there is always a ‘1111’ for some reason. Sometimes it doesn’t show the people you have matched with. This is remedied by restarting the app however. There aren’t too many people on this app. Most of the profiles seem to be computer generated and when you have swiped through all of them, they are reused. Most of the matches I have gotten are people trying to sell something. When I have matched with real people it has been great though! **Developer response:** So sorry about that, this may be because we were experiencing a glitch last week that was causing issues logging in. He and I “swiped right” on each other the same day we downloaded the app (December 23rd, 2021) and right after I studied abroad in England from the US. Have a great day! ### 2/5 — Good Idea but app doesn’t work. *2022-03-20, version 3.7.5* I like the idea of using personality’s to find matches. I also liked that things like religion and drinking preferences (as a non-drinker) were shown when going through people. I did notice if there was a high enough compatibility % some of my settings (like age) were ignored. I honestly never was able to talk to anyone to see how accurate the connections were, as about 10 days after downloading the app it stopped working. When the app stopped working I tried the usual updating and deleted the app and re-downloaded it. Still didn’t work. I reached out to the customer service and they responded quickly. They asked for a video of what was going on, which I sent. Then I didn’t get a response. When I replayed about a week later they told me they would let me know when it was fixed. That happened in January and it’s currently the middle of March and the app still isn’t working for me. So I’ve given up on this app. **Developer response:** Hi. It was very glitchy then, but I loved right away the fact that it was different than other apps and that it did not have the swiping method and that it was free. There was not a lot of people signed up yet, and there was only a few reviews on the app store (mostly negative). I'm giving this app five stars because despite all this, the idea is incredible and gamechanging. However, I have since learned from friends (who I have profusely recommended the app to) that this app has now become swipeable and there is a limit to what you can see before paying... I understand that the devs have to make money.. but honestly I'm so disappointed that it is not like it used to be. I thought that with time it would become a better version of itself and other people would be able to find love like I did, not that it would become like just another generic dating app like tinder where superficial, attention seeking people can just swipe left and right to see how many likes they get. The dating app side of things is a neat concept to visualize and understand different compatibility between different people and personalities. All of the problems I have with the app are under the hood in terms of coding and development. It’s super slow to load things, the app takes forever to move between different sections or save certain changes. It will list likes that you have after you’ve matched or rejected. Thank you. ### 2/5 — Hinge with a personality type and way fewer users *2022-02-05, version 3.6.3* SS needs to drum up some specials. They charge a full premium for a limited user group. I did not have a match under a hundred miles of distance. I live in a college town. The app is nice, really feels like a carbon copy of hinge. Pros: interesting to learn about yourself if you don’t already know your personality type. Easy to use abs set up. Cons: population of this was an mmo population it would be a dying free to play game. Numbers are in your favor and there are no numbers here. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — False Representations *2024-02-03* This App has been a bitter disappointment. The only parties that I received likes from were obviously bogus accounts made by parties engaging in scams. For example, I got two “likes” from two supposed people who were obviously the same person, because they looked exactly alike, and were only a year apart in age. Also, received multiple prompts on the Notification Center on the homepage of my mobile device, stating that lots of people were checking out my profile, yet when I open the app immediately after, it stated that there were no available matches. Then they try to bait you with the sales pitch of promising you’ll get more ‘likes’ if you pay more money. Stay away from this app folks. It’s a scam. ### 1/5 — Great Idea ! But I have no access!! *2023-01-08, version 4.4.02* Great idea but 1- you should allowed access without a photo for opening an account and give us the possibility to upload a photo later or for more private viewing . It doesn’t make any sens to me with what you are promoting to force on having a photo upload first to allow access if it is not about the apparence. There’s contractions here. 2- we are asked to choose between having access to all photos from our phone or only a few . When u choose only a few the apps close . I wasn’t able to get access until I have no choice to choose to access all my photos but I didn’t want to choose that option . But still no access ? Why ? Because of number 3. 3- I still haven’t been able to access the site because I am asked to accept location service (which again , I don’t know why it has to be compulsory when I want to be private at first and I am not looking for locale people or to be localised) but this option is not even showing in the settings when the app is sending me there to have it on. There a no location for me to switch on . Not even appearing in my list of apps that can use location . So far I still don’t have access to this wonderful idea . I have been sent to allow my location but then this option is not showing on the app for me . I am on a iPhone X . I also try to send you a message but it didn’t work so I am here . Used the app for one session and when I tried checking the app the next day I was notified that my account was suspended. I don’t know why it was suspended and received no reason. Nothing on my account was fake or inappropriate at all. I couldn’t have gotten reported because I never even matched with a single person. ### 1/5 — No matches *2022-08-28, version 3.9.13* I’ve gotten no matches and it’s been a couple months that I’ve used it, yet nonstop likes that I can never see. Has anyone Actually matched with anyone recently? Because for the many users, I haven’t even chatted with anyone yet. Also, it gives me repeated people that I already liked. Seriously, can’t this be fixed? The point of these kinds of apps is to connect with people, and you’re just making it impossible to do so. Not even to mention the login screen. Seriously, FIX IT! ### 1/5 — Lots of scammers on this site *2022-05-23, version 3.8.9* The concept is nice and the while a bit wonky, the app is usable. The problem is there appears to be a network of scammers on the site targeting certain demographics of people. They all have similar stories about not living where their profile locations say… and then say they came to a particular area or region of the country “to work.” Don’t bother with “So Syncd” until they can find a better way to manage the site to reduce scammers. Neat concept… so sad. I wish I could get a refund. ### 1/5 — Visual accessibility takes a holiday *2022-04-23, version 3.8.0* Handles large fonts so poorly that it's impossible to answer assessment questions correctly since one or more answers are off the edge of the screen -- not something I'd pay for since it'll never assess my Myers-Briggs type correctly, even if I were OK giving money to a company that thinks it's OK to exclude folks with disabilities by failing to design with Apple's accessibility features in mind. ### 1/5 — App doesn’t seem to work *2022-03-08, version 3.6.7* This is a clever idea with some potential but the app doesn’t seem to work. Setting up a profile requires answering some questions using multiple choice options. However, there’s no way to scroll down to access all the available answers. If it’s this glitchy at the start how will this even work? Did the developers even check their work before publishing? I’d like to give this a try but they need to fix this. So far it’s a no-go. ### 1/5 — Disappointed *2022-02-04, version 3.6.3* Made my account with some friends in a few towns over. When I got home I couldn’t even update my location to where I was without paying. I had gotten 3 profiles so wasn’t worth the money. This is only dating app that I have encountered that you cannot even change your location to where you currently are. ### 1/5 — Glitchy, slow, and few users. *2022-01-19, version 3.5.7* Conceptually, this is a great idea! Understanding the finer aspects of one’s personality and whom you’d logically connect with is a good foundation. Unfortunately, the code/programming is both slow and flawed, with the app crashing almost any time it’s opened or simply not loading almost anything. You’ll open it after receiving a message and it MIGHT show you that thread, but it’s so iffy. Moreover, their are very few users, and without users it doesn’t work for it’s intended purpose. If they fix the app I’ll update, but yea, as it stands it’s not worth your time whatsoever. ### 1/5 — Paid and does not load more often then not *2022-01-09, version 3.5.0* I paid for a subscription in order to get my location to update. But the app rarely loads. It’s spins when you open it. It indicates you have a notification but when you click on it, it just spins. There have been no matches at all and no one within thousands of miles of my location. False advertising and it will not refund your money. I do not recommend. I thought for sure the personality test would yield a higher caliber of an app. Disappointed ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Amazing app *2023-06-01* I like the whole meaningful matching thing because I haven't had any luck with other apps! If you, like me, have had seriously bad luck with all the usual dating apps out there then you need to try this app! People on this app aren't looking to hook up. They're looking for a relationship, and actually some people are looking for friendships too. The app is really straightforward to use. You can do a quick personality test (described me to a tee by the way!) and then you can start matching. The compatibility score on the profiles was really helpful too. I decided to put it to the test a bit and so I matched with a few different types of people that I liked the profiles of. I definitely connected more with the 80%+ matches as the conversations just flowed in a more natural way. Whereas the topics of conversations with the 50% matches just weren't very me.
