## What is SOAR BA?

SOAR helps you explore Bosnia and Herzegovina on the map and in nature: over 150 tourist destinations across the country, more than 100 mapped routes, and over 100 recommended locations — from cultural and historical landmarks to viewpoints, nature, and local attractions.

Around Sarajevo you get tourist, hiking and cycling trails in the Olympic mountains and surrounding nature, with clearer navigation and a safer outdoor experience. Discover via ferratas, mountain lodges, springs, waterfalls and more.

Use in-app GPS navigation on outdoor routes, check mountain weather and elevation profiles, find nearby restaurants, accommodation and other services, and keep Mountain Rescue contacts at hand. Browse places and routes on the map, save what matters to you, and use the app offline when there is no signal.

SOAR is free for iPhone and iPad, with in-app languages including Bosnian, English, German and Turkish.

Built for tourists, hikers, cyclists, recreationists and athletes — and as support for outdoor and tourism infrastructure in and around Sarajevo and across BiH.

### 3.0 — 2025-06-24

-Fix all known bugs.
-Fix calculation of Remaining distance to end of track.
-Update tracks to get latest changes faster when you are Online.
-We added curent altitude of user.
-Other track now is selectable showing hole route and name of track.

### 2.2 — 2023-10-04

Fixed all known bugs.
We added two more mountain Bjelasnica and Igman with new routes.
In navigation now you can turn off rest of maps view to see only track that you are using.
Also add new feature to bring user to start location of tracking route whit maximum precision.
Now content of app is totally by language there in no more mix of language
Video is coming soon for all mountain and many more. 
Update app so you can enjoy in all features of app.

### 2.1 — 2023-07-12

Fixed all known bugs.
We added the new place Benbasa with new routes.
We added also share  your location with your friends or in case of emergency.
We change way of navigation all now is based on Google Maps.
Also add new feature to bring user to start location of tracking route.
And many small improvements to make easy to use application.
Another mountain coming soon.
