## What is Sobe?

Before screens, every street in the world had the same arcade.

A handful of stones. A chalk circle. A stick, a rope, a pocketful of bottle
caps. The games had different names in every language — beştaş in Istanbul,
jacks in Brooklyn, knucklebones in ancient Greece — but they were the same
games. Nobody owned them. Everybody remembers them.

Sobe is a pocket anthology of twelve of those games, rebuilt from scratch as
polished, one-hand arcade runs for iPhone.

THE GAMES
• Tipcat (Çelik Çomak · Gilli Danda) — flip the stick, strike it mid-air, count the meters
• Fivestones (Beştaş · Jacks) — toss, sweep, catch before it lands
• Marbles (Misket · Ring Taw) — knuckle down and knock them out of the ring

• Quoits (Horseshoes) — read the wind, land the ring
• Bottle Caps (Chapas) — flick through the gates, hold the road
• Jump Rope — load your legs, match the rope, survive the speed-up

REAL PHYSICS, REAL FEEL
Every game runs on a deterministic physics engine tuned for touch: drag-back
flicks with a live power gauge, hold-to-charge jumps, timing windows you can
read on screen. In Stone Skipping you can even throw by flicking your phone —
a real wrist snap, measured by the motion sensors, on-device only.

AN ANTHOLOGY, NOT JUST AN ARCADE
Each game carries its culture card: where it comes from, what children call
it on five continents, and the house rules — the vinegar-soaked conkers, the
"keepsies" marbles, the pebble tossed backwards over a shoulder. Beat your
best and share it as a golden-hour street poster.
