## What is SobekPH?

SobekPH is a mobile application designed to interact with the remarkable UF Digital Collections. Though the images and materials are already available on the web with significantly more information and detail than is feasible for the constraints of a mobile platform, we believe that these collections are beautiful in their own right, simply to view and interact with. To that end, and working in concert with Digital Library Center staff, we've created SobekPH.

## Key features

- Interact with digital collections
- View historical images
- Streamlined mobile interface
- Access curated materials

### 2/5 — It's OK

*2010-02-21*

The app is buggy and clumsy, it's as if the developer never tried it out. For example, if you click the share button, there's no going back, gotta quit the app. Also wrong thumbnails appear as temporary placeholder until the correct ones load, you can't view photos full screen (without menus), and you can't scroll on a photo without first zooming it.

The photos are nice! I wish the app was as nice.

### 5/5 — Simple and well executed

*2009-11-29*

Great photos too.
