### 2/5 — Buyers beware

*2023-05-20*

This app has been defunct since the creators left it to the hands of other non certified developers. This app is a loose thread in recovery and may need to better function with newer ideas like calm app and other cbt free app features for those who can process therapy for free like Wysa app for cbt therapy and ai coach therapies. I feel this app is severely detrimental to new beginnings and newcomers in recovery and could be slated for a better social media platform at their targeted level in recovery members of this app. It just doesn’t fit the criteria of those who are willing to work a program of recovery rather than deceit towards using for many of the individuals on here. I noticed a few members wallowed on their losses and on the creators support which I can empathize but gee wiz there are a lot of people out there willing to get support in their recovery. Just icymi.

### 5/5 — Number 1 National Telehealth App

*2022-12-10, version 5.1.5*

Sober Grid is the number one app of its kind nationally. This is the opinion of myself, one mental health telehealth treatment expert and over 300 current and past clients.I have used Sober Grid as my go-to sobriety resource with my clients for well over ten years. My clients have met with success in every single instance. My professional review, along with client reports indicate that this app addresses developing healthy lifestyles through lessening your dependence on alcohol. It is with no reservation whatsoever that I highly recommend your use of Sober Grid in your own personal struggles with sobriety.

### 5/5 — Really helps! Wish I would have signed up yeses ago.

*2022-04-29, version 5.1.4*

When I first found this app, I didn’t sign up because I was afraid that I would encounter people I knew. But, after signing up, I found that everyone is from all over the country and world. I feel kind of anonymous, yet I have made several personal connections and real friends. And everyone here is full of positivity and support! When I log on daily, I have so much more resolve, optimism and ease to handle cravings and related issues. This is the best place for anyone wanting to get sober and those who want to stay sober.

### 3/5 — Helpful

*2022-03-20, version 5.1.3*

I’m all for anything that promotes the outreach of recovery to those that need. I may have certain personal principles that don’t parallel those that control this company, but I agree that every possible avenue needs to be pursued so that people can get the help they need. Being in recovery myself and being ex career peer recovery support, I know the epidemic from a multitude of viewpoints, I recommend this app even more so given the challenges of the pandemic, the limitations in local government and medical resources, as well as the stigma and general attitude of the public towards people who struggle with addiction and mental health problems. Thank you for this resource and those who participate for nothing more than to help the next addict in turmoil and bring them the chance of a better life!

### 5/5 — Definitely helpful

*2022-03-16, version 5.1.3*

While I dont feel this is enough to build a firm foundation in recovery, i do find it an additional helpful tool. Im in long term recovery and this didn’t exist when i got clean but wish it did. What i really like is a) the anonymity if you choose, b) the fact that you can reach out to people with similar issues or interests such as ptsd, cbt, alternative pathways to recovery or narcotics anonymous as well as see who is nearby you, c) it’s wonderful for those 3:00 in the morning emergency situations when you don’t want to wake anyone but feel like you need to reach out for support to get through something (very helpful when you have a chronic illness thats flaring up and you are in agony and your disease is messing with you). I met some lovely people and as a result am part of a newish (developed at start of pandemic)recovery group that meets online and absolutely love this group!! So helpful.

### 4/5 — Helpful Tool for Sobriety

*2021-11-21, version 5.1.1*

I’ve been using SG for three years, and I really like the check-in and daily task list. It helps me engage in my program, and allows me to provide help to others in an easy-to-access way. I would love a feature that would keep me accountable with my daily check-ins and offers praise/“reward” for a streak of consecutive check-ins, etc. Otherwise, it’s a great app that I routinely recommend to other people.

### 5/5 — Best recovery app

*2021-10-05, version 5.0.1*

I love this app, because it has a counter that I can pull quickly, the posts are always positive. There are very friendly people that you can relate with who are also in recovery and you can share with them, also there are daily check ins, and milestones. Also recovery coach information is shared and through sober grid you can have your own recovery coach! I have four yrs clean and part of that is because when I could not reach someone to speak with I got on sober grid and scrolled through some positive posts from people going through the same thing I was going through!

### 5/5 — Great add to your sober arsenal!

*2021-05-29, version 5.0.0*

I have tried out most of sober social apps out there, for me Sober Grid is by far the best! Sure there are a few hiccups, but well on its way! No in-purchases,(except links to external counseling) has everything you need in one place, friendly supportive peeps, counter, daily inspirations, and the ability to “check in” as a journal, with or without posting to public! And by far the least amount of spam accounts. Thank you SG!

### 5/5 — We are not alone.

*2021-03-26, version 4.1.9*

If you feel that you’re out of place, a fool, a loser, or just not complete because you’re recovering from addiction you’re not. Not only are you not, you’re also not any of those things. None of us are. This is one of the chapters we had to go through in order to become who we are. This app reminds you of that by showing you other survivors progress, supporting and receiving support from other survivors, reflecting on their stories, and reflecting on your story. This app is an extremely accessible tool to help you to stay towards whatever your goal in recovery may be. One day at a time, friends.

### 5/5 — For us

*2021-03-06, version 4.1.9*

I was really skeptical at first about this app. But as time passes, I am getting more and more drawn to this it. Addiction is a very hard disease to fight, we need all the help we can get. This app will provide you with a wonderful group of individuals, who will not even think twice before putting their hand out to help. SG and the community here helped me understand that Im not alone in this fight and there were multiple occasions where my amazing friends here talked me out of using drugs again. Thanks SG.
