The app turns that real-world experience into practical daily guidance for parents, spouses, siblings, grandparents, and friends. DAILY GUIDANCE FOR FAMILIES A short daily check-in looks at your mood, available capacity, current pressure, and the kind of support you need. You receive a practical next step based on where you are today. KNOW WHEN TO ACT Track meaningful consequences and recognize the approximately 72-hour period when a loved one may be more open to accepting help. The app treats this as an opportunity, never a guarantee. Safety guidance comes first, followed by one sentence you can say and a clear path to your Treatment Action Plan. BOUNDARIES YOU CAN KEEP Build boundaries around your own actions rather than trying to control another person. Write down what happened, what you will do, and how you will follow through. Use guided tools and conversation scripts before the next difficult moment arrives. THE INTERVENTION LETTER Write a clear, loving intervention letter with step-by-step guidance. Keep it focused, personal, and short enough to read aloud. A clear Finish action helps you know when the letter is ready. PASS IT ON Share the free Monday family support call with someone who may need it, or print a branded boundary worksheet for a family meeting, support room, church group, or treatment family day. Public resources are shared without including anything from your account or family. SUPPORT THROUGH EVERY PHASE Choose the situation that best fits today: active use, considering treatment, treatment, returning home, early recovery, or a return to use. Learn what to do, what to avoid, and what a realistic next step looks like. CRISIS SUPPORT IS ALWAYS FREE Immediate safety guidance, 911 and 988 shortcuts, Poison Control information, and the offline household Safety Wallet are available without a subscription. Crisis tools are never placed behind a paywall. COACHING AND MEMBERSHIP Sober Helpline is free to download. Optional memberships add private support messaging and live coaching benefits.
