## What is Sober MP3 Player?

Sober MP3 Player is a minimal, local-first music player for tracks you already have.

Import audio from your device using the system file picker. Supported formats include MP3, M4A, FLAC, and other common types. Files are copied into the app sandbox so your library plays reliably offline.

• Playlists, shuffle, repeat, and queue
• Background audio with Lock Screen and Control Center controls
• My Top Plays — most-played tracks ranked on your device (no server analytics)
• No sign-up, no ads, no recommendation feed
• No third-party ad or tracking SDKs

Your library, playlists, and play counts stay on your iPhone or iPad and are removed when you delete the app.

1. Cold-start playback session restore — On app reopen, restores the last track, queue context, and Order/Repeat (shuffle & repeat). Does not auto-play; stays paused until the user presses play. Tracks missing from the library are dropped from the restored queue with a short on-screen notice.
2. Library search field — Search bar remains visible in Library search (including empty / no-results states) and focuses on entry so typing can start immediately.
3. Empty playlist toolbar — Empty playlists show Add Tracks and Rename / Delete. Play All, reorder, and bulk remove appear only when the playlist has one or more tracks.
