## What is Sobriety Chips?

A sobriety chip is a token given to Alcoholics Anonymous members representing the amount of time the member has remained sober. Awarded for abstaining from alcohol while in the program of Alcoholics Anonymous. 

This set of AA chips ranges from 24 hours to 60 years sobriety.
Also contains a serenity prayer sticker.

Silver Chip – 24 hours of sobriety
Red Chip – 30 days/1 month of sobriety
Yellow Chip – 60 days/2 months of sobriety
Green Chip – 90 days/3 months of sobriety
Orange Chip – 4 months of sobriety
Red Chip – 5 months of sobriety
Blue Chip – 6 months of sobriety
Purple Chip – 7 months of sobriety
Orange Chip – 8 months of sobriety
Pink Chip – 9 months of sobriety
Green Chip – 10 months of sobriety
Red Chip – 11 months of sobriety
Gold Chips – 1 - 60 years of sobriety

I was so excited to see virtual coins, only to be disappointed that the app wouldn’t open. It’s extremely frustrating. 😑

I’m so glad that Kurt made these stickers and then put them in the store! Every one looks great and more importantly, helps me to communicate what an achievement the accumulation of sober time happens to be. 
Sober time is garnered one day at a time and a person in recovery has a much greater chance of success by staying in today. However, a quick indicator of experience while sober is the number of years one has accumulated. That number by no means guarantees an opinion is any more valid, it just says there’s a greater chance the person with more time has come out the other side without finding it necessary to drink. 
These chips are really valuable for encouragement; especially for those with single-digit (less than ten-year’s) time. Again, I am so grateful these are here, as one more way to participate in a loved one’s sober journey.

Reply to your email today that I got from kurt: I have deleted this app. The icon doesn't show up anywhere! But yet i get update notifications. Please delete this. When you do I will remove my one star rating.

It took me a minute to realize that it is not an icon on the phone, but I read the notes (imagine that!) and found out how to use it. Great idea for this virtual world today!

The app doesn’t show off as an icon anywhere on my phone when I go into the app profile I hit open it brings me to my photos.
