This app no longer works. Although it claims to connect to a side table, it always fails stating that table could not connect WiFi. Using 2.4 G, router shows table was assigned IP address. Multiple tables, multiple phones, all fail the same way. ### 1/5 — Great side table, horrible app *2025-11-12, version 1.1.7* I love the side table but this app is horrible! Very unintuitive to use, and connecting the side table is extremely temperamental. Need the app for that. The app can’t connect to the tables when it does it’s just dumb luck. Don’t use the Bluetooth speakers because the audio is not great and the second you get in range it connects even if you are connected to an other device at the time. So basically it’s a very heavy, power bar with a night light. The back light is only for mood setting. The drawers are ok. The slot for the laptop or books is a nice design feature. But this app and the way you connect to and configure the table is terrible and needlessly overly complicated. You have to turn on the wifi in the table, connect your phone to the table, then connect back to your home wifi, but then when you try to use the app it still tells you it can’t connect to the table. Please address and support the product your created ### 1/5 — Only had it for a few days and already having problems *2022-10-01* If you’re looking at getting this app you probably already wasted money by on the side table. This is a review for the app only, not the table. In theory the table is great if only the accompanying software worked. I have had the table for only a few days and initially everything was great. Then today noticed the front light flashing and the app indicated that I was no longer connected to Wi-Fi. Ran through the setup process again three times and failed each time. What changed? I have no idea. Obviously this is something that can be corrected with an app update but looking through older reviews this appears to be a known issue that the company cares nothing about. So I would not recommend this app and I would recommend returning the table as soon as you read this. Don’t waste your money. ### 1/5 — sadly hasn’t worked for 2+ years *2026-04-12, version 1.1.7* i bought 2 side tables and 1 coffee table from Sobro just over 3 years ago. while the outlets on the coffee table stopped working after about 6 months with no solution, this is about the app. the app and controls have not worked for the last 2 years and Sobro has yet to have a fix for it it seems after reading the other reviews. candidly, i’m not sure they’ve ever even tried to fix the issue, i think they just wanted to release cool products and the apps/functionality was an afterthought which is interesting considering you need to use the app to use the products. on my bedside tables, the fridge and lights work and i love having bedside tables and a coffee table with a fridge, but the Sobro app functionally does not work and will not connect your devices so you can’t customize light colours, motion sensors, anything on/off, etc so basically 80% of what makes the bedside tables themselves useful. it’s definitely a first world problem but not having the motion sensor light sucks, it knows how to turn on to flash for bluetooth but the motion sensor can’t be enabled due to the app not connecting any devices. it’s literally just a bedside table mini fridge with no other functionality and i know if the app was working it would work. if you’re hoping for a luxury product i don’t think you’ll find that with Sobro, despite the products looking cool. i hope they eventually release a fix for this, but i wont hold my breath on it. your device may connect at first after initial purchase, but it will eventually it will disconnect and then will not work anymore. with my 3 devices, the lifespan for the connectivity is about 6-12 months in my own experience. just something to be aware of if you are considering a Sobro purchase! ### 1/5 — Good Concept Bad Exectution *2026-02-23* I was given one of their smart tables as a gift, $800 plus tax gift. Seemed very cool. The “fridge” doesn’t cool, yes if you read into it, the table doesn’t technically have a real fridge and it is more of a Thermo type where it is supposed to cool to up to 21°. It says lower than the room temperature, however, I tested this, and it is not the case at all and their fan on it didn’t even work at all. I also had issues getting either one of the USB-C ports to work just to charge a simple, single iPhone and I tried five different cables on both ports. The app is horrible, so I would say at least a dozen attempts to get it to connect at all and then once it connected, it just kept disconnecting over. I attempted to talk to their Support folks many times and you cannot get a hold of these people and even the one time I got a single response back from anyone their response made zero sense and did not help at all. They do not stand behind their products. Again cool thought but bad product design and quality. When I contacted Sobro, they informed me that their servers had an issue, and that their Dev team would need to update the app, and indicated it might take 6-8 weeks. A follow up with them indicated that the app would be updated by the end of December 2025. A simple google search does not return anyone else having this issue. Why do the tables need to connect to the Sobro server? The tables have a refrigerator, a light, and a speaker. Do these actually need to connect to a Sobro server, or have an app that hasn’t been updated in 2 years? ### 1/5 — App Needs to be Updated to Work *2025-12-31, version 1.1.7* My side table stopped working. The “App Team” has had more than two months to figure it out and update the app but haven’t. When it works, it’s good. I would not buy the table unless app gets updated. ### 1/5 — They can't get an app for a table working *2025-12-17* I've two side tables, I purchased them about 5 years ago, I only use the front and back light features, and sometimes the cooler. The table keeps getting disconnected from WiFi randomly (no other IoT device in my house does that) and when I open the app I always find th3 tables disconnected. And every time I try to connect the table to the app it becomes a painful experience, I have to keep trying over and over until it suddenly may work. Now I can't get them to connect again, I've been in contact with Sobro support for over a month and up till now they can get it working. ### 1/5 — App is broken, tables are poorly built *2025-11-23* I have 4 of these tables and none of them have ever had all of their features work out of the box.
