What I would really like to be able to do are my lineups. Unfortunately the portion that tells many how many minutes of the game a player is planned to play doesn’t work. It tells me a player has played 0 minutes or 15 minutes when I have them scheduled for 2*15 minute quarters. I love the integration with TeamSnap and if that portion is fixed I will definitely check it out again. ### 4/5 — Great In-Game Mgmt Tool *2017-01-31, version 5.1.1* It takes some getting used to, and doesn't sync well to other devices, but once you're used to it, it's a great tool. You can sync with TeamSnap, which makes it easy to import your roster and events, then sync your game scores back up. The backup/sync issue was with saving to Dropbox, then opening on another device. I didn't find it very intuitive, and I am a developer. I overwrite newer versions with ease, which was frustrating. Luckily, I used test files and took the time to figure it out before my season. Once I got it running, I haven't looked back. It's easy to set up your formation, then move subs in and out. It tracks time played. It allows you to track stats as well, and offers game and season reports. I highly recommend taking the time to get to know the app, then using it in conjunction with TeamSnap to manage your games. ### 4/5 — Great App *2017-01-15, version 5.1.1* I looked at a few different apps to help with team management and game time player management. Great visual for the players to see where they will be playing and with who. You can tell a lot of thought has gone into it. Unfortunately this is all let down by an app that crashes at random, making the user experience extremely frustrating to say the least. Were it not for the bugs and constant crashes I would happily give this app 5 stars, but I don't expect an app that I have paid for to perform as poorly as this one does currently. I am currently using on an iPad with iOS 9.2.1. ### 4/5 — Works great and easy to use. *2016-02-12, version 5.1.1* I have been using this app for several years now and it works very well. It's easy to use and set up and I like that you can email your team through the app, setting up practices scrimmages, and games. There is a glitch in the email that is annoying but it isn't a deal breaker. The app will track all of the stats and playing time. Lineups change randomly after saving *2017-05-17, version 5.1.1* Running on ipad pro 9.7 with iOS 10.3 Saved 2 Different lineups for my u8 team. Some games are 4 rotations and some are 8 so I need to be prepared. I usually work on lineups the day before our games. I just happened to create a fake game just to test my lineups and couldn't figure out why my kids play times were so far off after I just went though them. And I could not figure out why the lineups all changed from how i set my god players to forward and Mids, now they are on the bench and in defense etc. After 2 hours of constantly thinking I'm screwing up,I took screenshot of every screen before saving. Sure enough I was right and the software soccerdad is just randomly doubt what it wants. I took my screenshots and printed them out. 15 minutes before game I open soccerdad and it's all changed again. Seriously!! I then have to take my printed out screenshots and adjust soccerdad once again. I have sent numerous emails to get help and also sent messages to his YouTube account as well. Absolutely NO RESPONSE. Goalkeeping logic is hugely flawed, 1 rotation gives you 1 keeper per match, but 2 rotations gives you 3 keepers per match!??? We have a maximum roster team and required 50% minimum playing time for all kids. Soccer Dad lets you plan all the rotations, see total playing time at each position in a game or through the season. From my youngest boy under 8 team at a local level. Right up taking teams away to represent Australia. I can not speak more highly of this app. It keep the coaching staff well in form of stat about the games. Also I can keep players & parents inform about training, game times, dates, drill and places. Take a little will to get use to all it has to offer but well worth it. I now have 14 x teams of data on this app over the 3 years with soccer & futsel accessible on my IPad & iPhone.
