## What is SoccerSums?

Football can make maths fun! Harry Kane scored 30 goals including 5 penalties – what fraction of his 30 goals were penalties? Is Mohamed Salah’s squad number odd or even? Multiply the numbers of letters in the name OLD by the numbers of letters in the name TRAFFORD. These are just a few examples of how SoccerSums provides a unique way of combining football with maths.  
 
SoccerSums applies real football data to the national curriculum’s programme of study to help children in year groups 1 to 6 improve their maths skills.
