Needs some work. Was considering ordering the Titanium but glad I didn’t since the app isn’t there yet. Unfortunate. ### 3/5 — Almost but not great *2023-06-04, version 1.8.9* For a digital card, it started ok. But one number, has social media links (why do you want to share these?). So it has your email and phone number. But it seems that more is available once you add a business account for 2 to 3.00 per month! Again, why? Some what easy to add all your contact information. Trying to highlight exactly what way you’d like the person to be able to contact you, the app gets glitchy and closes. Definitely could use some work. Lots of bugs . ### 2/5 — Keeps Glitching *2023-03-27, version 1.8.9* Not sure what’s going on with this, but every time I go into the app on my phone, it glitches and doesn’t allow me to go back to the home page. It’s infuriating. I hope this is fixed. I came to the App Store hoping maybe I just hadn’t updated the app and that’s why it wasn’t glitching, but nope. ### 2/5 — Can’t load business address *2022-06-19, version 1.8.6* Address must match search criteria, but my business is located in a different city than the search criteria indicates, so you list me as being in a whole different city (with the same zip). Why not just let us key in an address of our own choosing?? ### 1/5 — Not a functional product *2021-10-23, version 1.8.3* This product is not functional. I have tried to enter my email and my website into my Social Master account. Every time I try to do so the app says that my email and website are invalid. I’ve tried reaching out to customer support in several ways and have gotten no responses back. I want a full refund for products and still have heard nothing back from customer service. ### 1/5 — Booooo *2021-10-12, version 1.8.3* Does not even scan without a case. Don’t waste time or money on it *2021-10-06, version 1.8.3* First off, only iPhones have the NFC chip on in the default setting, so it rarely works with any other platform. I’ve tried it for months! Secondly, it’s marketed as a business card but the app won’t allow you to not set a birthdate. No legitimate business card has a birthday on it! Overall, very inconsistent and highly unprofessional to use as a business card. ### 2/5 — User *2021-08-02, version 1.8.3* Can’t add business info? Allows me to input but will not allow me to edit. Have to shut down the app and it doesn’t save the info. ### 3/5 — Just OK *2021-07-16, version 1.8.3* Nice little interface for social media, but from a business perspective look not so much. It has an option to enter business info, yet it does not save the info, forcing you to close the app, and try again, only to fail again. So I have no use for it now sadly. Off to find another product… ### 2/5 — Concept:Good Implementation: Bad *2021-06-30, version 1.8.2* The idea of adding you contact info by NFC is great but with this card you have to: 1. Tap the card to the phone 2. Select the prompt to open safari to the contact info 3. Select add contact in safari which opens the phones contact app 4. Select create new contact In either a business or social situation this is way too many steps. Should be Tap phone Contact app comes up with all info Select add new contact Quick & easy no need for steps 2&3 ### 3/5 — Almost but not quite there *2021-03-08, version 1.8.1* Unable to add multiple phone numbers. Want to have a mobile, office, and fax # included to truly replace a business cards functionality. Would not have purchased had I known I was not able to do this. Surprised this capability is not included. Want to be able to have both a Facebook link for office page and Facebook link for personal as well. Not surprised that this feature is not available but a suggestion you may want to implement in the future. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Forgot About Their Customers *2024-09-16* Bought the card 2 years ago. Doesn’t work today. I had trouble even using their online chat feature. Many errors pop up. Wondering if I got hoodwinked into a bait and switch. I bought this thing thinking I’d have it operational forever, I guess not. Buyer Beware. ### 1/5 — Useless *2024-07-31, version 1.8.9* I ordered the card and got it setup right away it worked great for a few months and now it is useless. My profile only shows my name, not even a contact phone number. When I try to update info in the app or “view my public profile” the app crashes. I have tried everything, deleting app and reinstalling, installing on new iPhone, and even reinstalling iOS. But it’s the same result every time. Not sure what changed in there end but the app has zero functionality now. ### 1/5 — FIX YOUR APP!! *2024-06-05, version 1.8.9* Hasn’t worked in months. Crashes constantly. I’ve spent money on the metal card, which was a waste. I purchased the pro subscription, which was a waste. None of it works. Light and dark setting doesn't work, trying to add the option to my apple wallet causes the app to crash everytime. Customer service is nonexistent. Multiple inquiries, no response. After a week, got a text, sent proof of order, receipt, no response again… is this a joke? I’ve bought a physical card (2). Look good, quality looks nice. But, the product doesn’t work… don’t waste your money… ### 1/5 — Very disappointed *2022-05-21, version 1.8.6* I ordered the NFC black series with engravement. Delivery wasn’t the quickest but when I finally got an email that it was delivered, I was puzzled because it wasn’t in my mailbox. My emails queries went unanswered. 4 days after the alleged delivery, I got a notification from usps that it was being held due to insufficient postage. I had to physically go and pay the shortage to collect it. I quickly opened it excited and here I was again disappointed, the engravement was extremely blurry, the card itself feels solid but that was it. Then I couldn’t figure out how to use it because my details weren’t coming up when activated despite me creating a profile on their app/site. Then I realized that they sent an incorrect print which they had confirmed was cancelled. So after all the wait and hassle, I got the wrong card and sloppy customer service. There is no number to call so you have to endure waiting on email responses, when they do answer, they answer parts of your query and its just an overall very frustrating process that is not worth it for me. I ended up asking for a refund. Btw. They refunded the extra postage I had to pay without apology or addressing any of the other issues and I still don’t know where the correct order is. I had high hopes for this product but it failed miserably all around and I’m having to seek alternative service. ### 1/5 — Currently Broken *2022-01-03, version 1.8.5* I wanted to love this concept and app. And I did, but only for a few days, unfortunately. I tried to use it a couple days ago and got a screen saying that an error occurred, please restart the app. Restarting didn’t help, nor did emailing their customer support, which is done via a website that doesn’t quite appear to be for that particular company/app. I’m happy to re-review this app once I hear back from their support team, and it’s fixed. The best out of all of the cards I’ve tried, and trust me i have tried a lot. ### 5/5 — Gets Me More Follow Ups *2022-04-30, version 1.8.6* I have had the Social Master metal business card and the Pet Tag for our dog for several months. The digital business card works well for the NFC and QR code but the most impressive part is being an entrepreneur, it seems to really make it simple to store my contact information immediately. I feel I get many more follow ups than I used to with regular business cards because after they scan my card I always “confirm” really quickly they saved all my information. Then I know they not only instantly have access to my contact info, but they get all my website and social details to look at later. I’m definitely a Social Master fan! ### 5/5 — Life saver! *2022-01-27, version 1.8.6* I can’t stop raving about this card. Everyone I show wants one! The company added light dark modes, multiple business profiles, “how to”s an most importantly Card Customization. 5 stars I must say I love the idea of this, I purchased the 24K card and I must say.. best way to present yourself as in any environment (if they don’t have a cell phone, they’re missing an experience.. not you!) The only problem I have Is the wasted space.. there’s so much white on this app that your profile picks looks lost in a FB void. I really recommend being able to set a picture as your background, not only that the card should be signature customizable. Literally makes nonsense that it’s not. ### 5/5 — Amazing! *2020-10-31, version 1.5* In this day in age with social media growing every single day this app is an essential to ensure you continue expanding your network! Like many others, I received initial error messages when setting up my profile, do not be discouraged. Even though it says an error occurred, my settings and profile were saved properly the very first time. It took about 10 minutes to upload my photo and enter all of my contact and socials information and the QR code and tap function work like a charm. I gave it 4 starts because the plastic is flimsier than I expected. I thought it would feel like a standard plastic debit or credit card, but it’s a bit thinner than that. All in all great product and easy to use. I highly recommend! ### 4/5 — Facebook link is null *2021-02-22, version 1.8* Everything seems to work great. I did have an issue with activating the NFC card but upon getting dozens of error messages I found out that it actually activated. Onto testing each of my media links. All of them work great... except Facebook. I run a Facebook page and any link that I enter in seems to put a “null” in front of the link when you try to select it. I can work around it by using the Other links and entering it there but it’s a little disappointing when the app should work the way it’s designed to work. Overall I do enjoy having one business card for all my links! ### 4/5 — NFC Biz Cards are really cool *2021-02-09* I’ve received my Gold NFC card and it looks amazing. It certainly a topic of discussion every time I present it.
