UI/UX is also terrible at best and doesn’t function at worse. ### 1/5 — Poorly optimised *2023-12-29, version 2.1.3* Basically unusable on a dodgy internet connection. I can load webpages in browser but on the same connection struggle to load a list of beers in app. Tested on fast wifi later and works fine. ### 1/5 — Difficult experience *2023-11-06, version 2.1.2* I scanned the app to order food but managed to purchase food / drink to the wrong pub (one 10 minute walk up the road). The QR scanning or the app should make it easier to make sure you’re ordering at the correct location - I.e. a GPS or a map popping up! When I realised I had ordered at the wrong pub, after speaking to the pub staff, they weren’t able to give us a refund, nor were the staff on the phone at the pub I’d accidentally ordered at, as they were different pub chains. The app was also useless for this situation. Luckily the pub we accidentally ordered honoured our order if we walked down there so we weren’t out of pocket. But what was supposed to be an “easier” way of ordering to your table, was definitely not. ### 1/5 — Doesn’t allow orders? *2023-10-20, version 2.1.2* I’m trying to order but no matter how many times you tap your drink/food item nothing happens? Just let me use decent WiFi. Putting a portal at the front end makes it painfully poor experience. Basically couldn’t even download the app. Why do you launch an app to allow me to order at the table when your WiFi doesn’t work and your app won’t load. If it’s this bad don’t even try. Randomly forgets venue is already selected. Needs a separate button press at the right time to go to the pub you are in. Randomly returns "you cannot order food" as "sorry, there are no items available for this menu". This app managed to ruin one of the very few Covid consequences - working versions of pub table service apps only Spoons had before Covid. You re-opened a previously long-open market gap with the poor quality of this app. For the pubs enforcing this app and moving away from MyPub app was the most pointless decision. ### 1/5 — Ihatethisapp *2022-11-11, version 1.5* Won’t let me order food ### 1/5 — Super slow and doesn’t work *2022-10-26, version 1.5* Don’t bother with this app. It looks pretty but that’s it. Some of the items (food) come under the wrong section on the app so are difficult to find.
