The one person with the Garmin is having issues. Super simple to use. I do wish there was a widget as well as alerts when someone has taken the lead, getting close to you, etc.. I have all my notifications on but haven’t seen one come through, so not sure what the notifications are? The best part about the Fitbit was that step challenges, am this app is closest thing I can find to it! Some recommendations that would make it even better: 1. Last updated info - would like to see the timestamp for when a friend has last updated their steps by opening the app. 2. Alerts - optional alerts when a friend has passed you in steps 3. Manual adjustment calc - this may be a bit niche but my family has a mix of Apple Watches and Fitbits. Fitbits give 30% more steps than Apple Watches (we have tested on multiple occasions), would love to be able to manually adjust steps to compensate. ### 5/5 — Best UI for tracking daily/weekly steps with friends *2024-09-15, version 1.23.0* I have been using with close group of friends for over year. The user interface is simple and efficient, no clutter like other setup apps it’s called “Social Steps “ for the right reason and does exactly as it’s labeled! I am very active in church and recently I have encouraged church members to join the app so that we can keep up with our health. This app is a great way for me to keep up with the community of members that we have at church to make sure they are staying active on a day to day basis. I don’t remember how it lets you sign up, but it says my email address isn’t on file. It was the same with him. We are both IT people, so it’s not like we are idiots. He signed up for a new account, but I opted not to be bothered with an app that is so lousy that it can’t help you log back in without setting up a new account. I just deleted the app. **Developer response:** Got it. Here’s a version without any promise: Sorry for the frustrating experience, that’s not how it should be.
