At £9.99 per year it’s manageable but I’ve just had notification that that is going up to £14.99. What on earth new features are being included to warrant of 50% price increase? But I do have a complaint that definitely needs to be addressed. The chat needs to be monitored closer for abusive language and racism from sore losers!! I have been called the N- word an alarming amount of times, so many in fact that I hide my profile just so I can enjoy the game that I love so much. I liked the turn based games. But a few days ago, with games in progress the app suddenly stopped opening. I checked the app requirements and it still said iOS version 15 or higher, and I have 15.5.0 so that didn’t explain anything. I don’t know what you did but it keeps me from opening now. Deleting. ### 1/5 — Cheaters *2025-08-10, version 2025.01.1* I initially enjoyed the game, that until I discovered there are cheaters. There is no anti-cheat system, and I was bewildered to find players moving my pieces or having two turns in a row. The first few times I assumed I somehow mistapped, but me and my girlfriend were discussing the board at some point and we both witnessed my queen being moved without me touching the screen when it was the opponent’s turn, who put my queen in a ridiculous position to be eliminated with ease. After this event I became aware of the next ones in other matches, so I can now confirm the game is loaded with cheaters. Reports do nothing. ### 1/5 — Poor service *2025-07-23, version 2025.01.1* This platform is plagued with cheating and fake accounts and after reporting cheating the plaintiff account was denied access. ### 1/5 — Community rampant with cheaters and toxicity with little to no action taken by the developer. *2025-07-19, version 2025.01.1* Title. I’ve used this app for a long time (years), but the community has gradually gotten worse and worse. These days I encounter the same toxic troll accounts over and over. Despite reporting many of them, I’ve literally never seen any action taken for the abusive chat, sandbagging, trolling and more that is a regular feature. To make things worse, there appears to be no actual anti-cheat program and nobody reviewing the reports in any sort of timely or organised manner. There are brand new accounts that play 100s of perfect 100% accuracy engine games, climb to the top 10 of the leaderboard and still do not get banned after I report them every day over and over. The only way to get a response it to force the issue in the developer chat, and then you get scolded for not ‘reporting via the report function’ as if you haven’t been doing that for a week. What a joke. It’s a shame because the underlying gameplay and app itself is really good.
