I think it’s awesome that you can connect over shared interests too. I’m a new mom and was able to find a network of other moms to get info and advice from, but also local moms that I can meet up with for play dates. Everyday I’m seeing a ton of new people on and I’m excited to see where this goes!! This is a great way to connect with people in a format that’s kind of like Instagram and bumble BFF mixed together because it allows you to see people by location. In the past out customers had to come to the office and physically signup on the class log. This was easy and customers are already signed up for our 8:30 yoga classes. The coolest feature is the ability to link/click on promo codes directly. There have been countless times on IG that I attempted to type in a code or paste a link an it never works. When I’m not working or meal prepping (#RiseNGrind) you can find me at my local gym. But then, some people started to say that I had become too yoked. My friend, D-Punch, suggested I mix it up and do some other workouts to remain active, but not bulk up. That’s when Athletes Mingle came into my life. I selected a few activities I wanted to try and BOOM (#JohnnyMadden) I found cool people, local leagues and new spots to bike, climb, sail and swim. Thanks to Athletes Mingle, I’m still yoked, but no longer need my T-Shirt sleeves to be tailored to fit around two 19.5-inch pythons. Now, I feel healthier and most importantly happier. I’ve made a ton of new friends thanks to Athletes Mingle. My followers have skyrocketed across all social media platforms. Although, I’m not sure if that’s due to friends I’ve met on Athletes Mingle or the recently purchased decal of my IG handle for my Honda Civic. Anyway, If I had one suggestion for Athletes Mingle. it would be to add kickball or dodgeball to the list of activities. Sometimes, D-Puncharino and I just want to kick back, hike up our shorts (sky’s out thighs out), drink a couple Harry Brewdinies (preferable Corona’s, like my boy Dom Toretto), and kick a ball into the next county.
