## What is Sofá, manta y peli?

With this app you can discover movies and series to watch. You can check the information about a movie or tv shows: trailers, cast, even watch which streaming platform it is available on.

If you log in you can add pending movies and tv shows to follow to mark the chapter you are going through.

If you configure the streaming platforms you use in preferences, you will be able to see a selection of the most popular movies on those platforms on the home screen. This way you won't have to spend more time deciding what to watch than watching it.

### 1.9.6 — 2026-08-17

• Sharper "Related titles": now based on what other users with similar taste actually watch, not just genre matching.
• Fixed browsing between related titles: jumping from one related title to another could land you on a blank screen; that's fixed.
• After signing up and picking your favourite platforms, the home screen now updates right away, no need to close and reopen the app.

### 1.9.5 — 2026-07-20

We've improved the "Next Episode" ordering: it now prioritizes the shows you're actively watching, and recent premieres only jump ahead when they're truly fresh. So you always have what's actually next front and center.

This update polishes a few things so everything runs smoother:
• The “Up Next” widget now displays correctly on iPad.
• Your streaming platforms always show up again, even during a temporary connection hiccup.
• Fixed a case where some series weren’t appearing in “Up Next”.
• Notifications that had stopped arriving are working again.
Thanks for using the app! We keep improving it for your movie nights on the couch.

• The widget now works on iPad too, even if you've never opened the app on that device.
• Shared collections no longer show titles you've already watched — your list stays clean and focused on what's still pending.

· The "hide watched" filter now works for TV shows too.
· Episode cards in series detail now correctly show the episode title instead of the series name.
· Fixed image loading in the grid.
· The widget now shows a helpful message the first time you add it on a new device.
· The Oracle no longer recommends unreleased films, and flags movies currently in theatres.
· Visual tweaks to the Oracle button.
