### 4/5 — Great Programs

*2026-01-28*

I’ve gone back and forth on this app for a while now. Honestly, I’ve given up on trying to use all of the functionality it offers. That said, the programs themselves are worth the price. If the developers were to iron out some of the app’s issues, it would be an even better value overall.

### 3/5 — App is buggy

*2025-07-19, version 3.14.2*

App is buggy

### 2/5 — Fix the app

*2025-06-17, version 3.14.2*

Pretty please fix your app. Or let me download the workouts from your website. You know it is and always has been an issue. The training is awesome and I love the programming. I’m just having consistent issues with the app and have been for years.

### 2/5 — Unusable App

*2025-05-21, version 3.13.1*

Bunch of non tech guys made this app. Hard to use, doesn’t save progress, and they make it so hard to cancel subscriptions that it’s almost not worth it. I only gave it two stars because the work outs are actually good when you can get the app to work, other than that I’d say go get a CrossFit prescription.

### 2/5 — Please fix the app

*2025-05-05, version 3.13.1*

For the love of god, please fix the app so we can actually use it.
Two stars because the programming is so good.

### 3/5 — Great App. Program is wack

*2024-12-13, version 3.11.4*

They get 3 star review for being veteran run still to my knowledge. -2 stars for programming that is great for people who want to exercise and break a sweat. Seriously SOFLETE used to be very solid in their programming but now it’s very subpar compared to things like TTM or MASS

### 4/5 — Love Soflete! But… I need help

*2024-11-18*

I love your workout programs. I have seen a huge improvement in my fitness level. It’s the one thing that helps me stay sane, but I can’t log in for the past few days. It says I don’t have an internet connection. I have uninstalled and reinstalled. I even tried to reboot my phone.

I am waited for a reply from an email I sent to you on the website. I thought I would give this a shot. Please… help me fix this.

### 3/5 — App Refinement

*2024-11-17, version 3.11.4*

App is down and website training app is down as well. The app has not been updates in three years time for a refresh.

### 4/5 — I love the programming

*2024-06-06*

Been following for years because I love the variety of programs they got and it’s helped me get to where I wanted to be physically. However the app itself can be super temperamental. I really hope yall find a better operating system or whatever for the app, but keep up the good works with the programming

### 3/5 — Good workouts, Trash App

*2024-02-06, version 3.10.3*

I get a good workout following this plan but man the app is pretty trash. I don’t even bother tracking my progress on this app because of how it randomly just restarts on you and restarts the workout. But I suppose I got it for the workouts and not the app.

### 3/5 — Workouts are great, App is ROUGH

*2023-09-26, version 3.10.3*

The workout designs are good. A great comprehensive design but the app is tough to use on the best case with some utterly useless features in the worst.

You can work around the app issues and still get good work in but for a subscription app you would t expect the functionality to actively be in the way of your work as this one is.

### 4/5 — Programming good. App ok

*2023-04-09*

I’ve made several reviews; all are similar, since some of the issues haven’t been resolved. For the most part, the training and nutritional programming is top notch as well as the customer service. The app has some kinks to work out.

For almost two years, I’ve had constant issues with the app actually keeping a historical record of the weight I’ve moved by sets (the bar graph icon “exercise history” when one is mid session).

There are occasionally differences in what the grocery function tells you to buy and what the actual cooking instructions will have you use. For example, the grocery function says buy 15 eggs for a course of five days, but once it’s time to prep that meal for five days, the instructions will say 18 eggs required.

### 3/5 — Workouts are great if I could access them

*2022-12-04*

The plans are awesome if you have access to basic gym equipment. I have noticed that since recent updates I haven’t been able to access my history, and even though I’m paying a good amount of money the app has crashed which requires a restart and download multiple times.

I’m starting to get really peeved about losing data especially since the app could be really good. Paying way too much to keep messing with this

### 5/5 — Current app is great

*2022-10-29*

A lot of reviews complaining about the app are outdated. The current app is awesome; I’ve been using it for months and have zero complaints. The programming itself is next level. I use the training, mobility, and nutrition programs and they are all some of the best I’ve ever found.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Keeps crashing

*2025-07-16, version 3.14.2*

I followed the instructions given to me by customer service: “ Please try the following:
1. Log out of the app.
2. Uninstall the app.
3. Restart your device.
4. Reinstall the app.
5. Log back into the app.

When you reinstall the app, leave the app open for 5 minutes to let it cache the workouts for the week. Please let us know if that doesn’t resolve the issue and include the type of phone and operating system you are using along with any screenshots that may be helpful.”

Spoiler: the app still crashes and/or won’t load

### 1/5 — Dude

*2025-07-04, version 3.14.2*

After 10 years and an asking price of $35 the amount of times this app crashes is ridiculous. Great app when it actually works.

### 1/5 — Unable to log in.

*2024-11-18, version 3.11.4*

Used the app previously with only the occasional issue, but recently I can no longer log in despite have an active account.

### 1/5 — Terrible App

*2023-07-21*

First I wanted to say that SOFlete and their training programs are awesome. I use and love their products too.

The 1 star review is for this terrible app. The idea is definitely a great one, but the functionality of it is awful. It continues to reset my plans and working maxes despite inputting them multiple times on the desktop and through the app. I've deleted and reinstalled the app, but it'll continually ask me to input everything again. Also, if I have to look at a video to explain the movement/exercise within a workout, I have to completely shut down the app because the exit buttons do not function.

I really wish this app was better because I'd love to use their programs. If it matters, I'm using an iPhone 14 with the most up-to-date version of their operating system, and the SOFlete is currently up-to-date as well.

### 1/5 — One of the worst out there

*2023-06-03*

I say one of but making an account on this app has been the worst experience I’ve ever had. I don’t usually write reviews but I felt obligated too after using it. The workouts are either incomplete (or not done at all) or use equipment not listed in the program description. The interfaces that you interact with are so bad with countless broken links with you needing two separate accounts to even use the app. You are much better off taking your money elsewhere as there are plenty of actual functional apps in the industry. This one has been a joke for years with not much progress in fixing it. It’s too bad because I want to like it but it’s become borderline a scam.

You’ve been warned

### 1/5 — Impossible to cancel free trial.

*2023-02-02, version 3.9.18*

I got the app to see what it was about after I recover because I am coming off an injury, and it is impossible to cancel this free trial. It should not be this hard. Emailed them twice. They make you have two separate accounts; it’s a mess.

### 1/5 — App continually logs out/drops workouts

*2022-02-02, version 3.9.11*

Please fix. Would be happy to help myself if you’re in need of devs

### 1/5 — Constant crashes, poor customer service

*2021-09-20, version 3.9.7*

I’ve used the app for years and the programs are overall quite well done.
Unfortunately the whole time there have been bugs and pains such as workouts not registering, the logs of previous lifts dropping etc.
Reaching out multiple times to resolve these issues leads to nothing unfortunately.
I guess I’m suffering from a sink cost fallacy but I cannot recommend this app to anyone else until all these issues are worked out and they begin offering proper customer service to customers.

### 1/5 — Sounds like a cool app… couldn’t even get started using it

*2021-08-26, version 3.9.4*

Every time I’ve tried to create a profile to log into it says it doesn’t have that email address in the system and that I need to create a profile. Kind of disappointing that I couldn’t even begin to use this app.

### 1/5 — v3.9 Broken

*2021-07-08, version 3.9*

The latest version, 3.9, which was released 14 hours ago, is completely broken. I can’t access my meal plans nor my workouts— and I am very frustrated by this because I am on a very strict protocol concerning the meal plans. Please fix soon!

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Plans, Videos, Nutrition

*2026-04-23*

It's all there! One of the coolest parts of the app is the nutrition section. You pick the dates and what your goals are. The app picks meals and provides a detailed shopping list. All the meals I've created have been fantastic so far too! Not sure how to do a type of workout? You'll be guided by videos and alternate methods to ensure anyone can participate. Recommended to all my friends. Recommended to you too.

### 5/5 — 🤙🤙

*2026-01-04, version 3.16.0*

The workouts and everything are so sick, keep it up!

### 5/5 — Soflete

*2025-12-31, version 3.16.0*

For serious hard core training

### 5/5 — High quality

*2025-12-30, version 3.16.0*

Excellent app. Train like the best. Well thought out training for the tactical athlete. Highly recommend.

### 5/5 — Tactical athlete to Retired Stay at home Dad

*2025-12-24*

I’ve been through a few subscription based programs and this has been home. After a few weeks of testing different programs I found one that I love and am seeing significant progress. I’m talking jumping a PR of 50lbs on squats in about a month. I will probably forever be on this app.

### 5/5 — Soflete App

*2025-12-19*

This app should be the standard for other training companies. The ease of use and tracking is far better than others I have tried. I have used soflete training and the app for 6 years ocasinally testing other companies apps out. Soflete by far does it the best. Not to mention the broad spectrum of high quality programs Soflete offers. The minimal issues I have run into are heavily outweighed by the benefits. Soflete is also consistently adding new training and refining the app. I can say that over the years it has improved substantially ( I thought it was great back in 2019). Highly recommend, especially if you maintain a career the requires you to consistently perform at a high caliber.

### 5/5 — Amazing app

*2025-12-18*

I just wanted to say that you guys are doing awesome job with the app and the training. I started using Soflete back in 2014 and over the years just love it more and more. The app makes it easy to follow the training cycles and the team kills it with everything. I am now 38 years old and I am in better shape than most of the 20 year old.

### 5/5 — Great Training App and Community

*2025-11-14, version 3.15.9*

I have been using this training app for years now. Great programming for various goals, great nutrition recipes, and the coaches and community are very active.

### 5/5 — Awesome

*2024-06-21, version 3.11.2*

Can’t beat it. Superior programming and nutrition support all in one app! My training game has been completely changed for the better.
Thanks all at SOFLETE for the years of service, experience, and sacrifice that was put into this. I am incredibly grateful.

### 5/5 — Fantastic training, app has room for small improvements

*2023-01-05*

This is hands down the best training I’ve found. There is great variety and challenge and a workout program to fit whatever your needs are. I’ve also had improvements with a lot less pain such as tennis elbow with push ups.

I wouldn’t consider the nutrition component to be a complete meal plan that I would recommend, but it has some great recoiled that are easy to make, taste great, and that my family will eat with me.

The app itself could use some tweaking such as adding more timers for all of the workouts and the ability to add notes if you substituted something for a movement. But, overall these are very small sacrifices for the overall quality of the program.
