## What is SoftLog?

Most journals get abandoned by February. Not because people do not want to reflect, but because traditional journaling often asks too much.

A blank page. Unlimited pressure. The feeling that every entry has to be deep, perfect, or meaningful.

Softlog makes reflection feel lighter.

You can write one sentence or let your thoughts flow freely. Add your mood, capture the moment, and build a daily habit that feels simple instead of overwhelming.

It is fast enough to use when you are tired, flexible enough for days when you have more to say, and consistent enough to help you notice real patterns about yourself over time.

Premium users get a monthly AI summary with insights about emotional patterns, recurring topics, meaningful moments, and personalized suggestions to feel better.

No account. No algorithms. No ads.

Just your words, your moods, and a habit worth protecting.

Your day happened. It deserves a place to live.

What's New — Version 1.3.1

  Goals just got smarter.

You can now get a personalized AI progress report for any goal. Softlog reads your linked journal
entries and gives you an honest, empathetic breakdown — what's working, what patterns it sees, any
obstacles in your way, and one concrete next step to keep moving forward.

We also added smart goal suggestions. After you write an entry, Softlog quietly checks if it matches
one of your goals and offers to link it — one tap, no friction.

 Goals — Bilingual support (EN/ES)

All static and dynamic UI strings in Goals are now fully localized — titles, labels, dates, stats,
  mood breakdown, form fields, etc.

Goals — AI Progress Report: language restriction

The OpenAI prompt now responds only in English or Spanish — no other languages regardless of what's
   in the entries.

  1. Rotating daily prompt
The hardcoded "What was the best part of your day?" now rotates daily based on the day of the week. 7 different phrases defined in dailyPrompt on the ViewModel.
  2. Selected day preview
Tapping a past day in the calendar hides the editor and shows a card with that day's note and moods. If no entry exists it shows "No entry for this day" with a moon.zzz icon.
  3. Contextual empty state

A horizontal chip row appears below the calendar showing emoji + count per mood, sorted by frequency. Each chip uses its mood's semantic color.
  5. Calendar selected state
Tapping a day now shows a sereneInk ring on top of the fill (or empty circle), with a easeInOut(0.15s) animation.
