## What is SOGSC Connect?

SOGSC Connect is the official companion app for the Oil, Gas & Shipping Exhibition (OGSE) Sabah 2026, held 4–6 June at the Sabah International Convention Centre.

CONFERENCE SCHEDULE
• Full session listing with date and time groupings
• Colour-coded session types: Keynote, Panel, Workshop, Break, Ceremony
• Live "Now" indicator highlights the session currently in progress
• Filter by session type to find what matters to you
• Bookmark sessions to build your personal agenda
• Add any session to your iOS calendar in one tap

NETWORKING & CHAT
• Browse the full attendee directory and search by name or organisation
• Start a private 1-on-1 conversation with any fellow attendee
• Real-time messaging — no need to refresh
• Unread message badges so you never miss a reply

EXHIBITOR QR CONNECT
• Exhibitors display a personal QR code on their profile
• Scan a QR code to open a direct chat instantly — no searching required
• A faster way to exchange contacts on the show floor

SECURE & SIMPLE LOGIN
• Sign in with your email only — a 6-digit code is sent to your inbox
• No password to remember
• Your session stays active across app restarts

SOGSC Connect is available to registered delegates. Use the email address you registered with to sign in.

- Redesigned Profile — Your profile is now cleaner and easier to navigate, with separate sections for your personal info, exhibitor details, and account settings.
- Personal Bio — Add a short bio to your profile so other attendees know who you are.
- Attendee & Exhibitor Directory — Browse and search exhibitors and fellow attendees from the Chat tab, and start a conversation with one tap. Pull to refresh anytime to get the latest list.
- Session cover images — Session detail pages now display cover images.
- Your pass type on your profile — Your badge category (e.g. VIP, Speaker, Delegate) is now visible on your profile.
- Brand logo in the schedule header — The event logo now appears at the top of your schedule.
- Cleaner schedule layout — Improved typography and spacing throughout the schedule for easier reading.

Bug Fixes & Improvements

- Session times now display correctly in your local timezone.
- The conversations list refreshes more reliably when new messages arrive.
- The session detail screen now shows a loading indicator while content loads.
- The back button on a chat conversation now correctly reads "Chats" on iOS.
- Scanning a QR code now handles unexpected input gracefully.
- General stability and performance improvements.
