## What is Sojourn?

Stay awhile in scripture.

Most Bible apps treat verses as footnotes. Sojourn treats them as places. Bring a question — envy, anxiety, forgiveness, anything — and be answered gently, with every verse a door into the passage itself.

Sojourn is completely free. 100% private. No subscription, no ads, no account.

Bring a question, a topic, or just curiosity. Sojourn's AI meets you there, listens, and surfaces the passages worth sitting with. It opens the conversation. You decide where it goes.

Every verse it cites is a live link. Tap one to see it in context. Go deeper and the passage becomes a place you've been, waiting in your trail when you return. Ask a question inside a passage and it flows back into your conversation, marked with where it came from. Nothing you wonder about gets stranded.

EXPLORE
Every citation is a door, not a footnote. Open a verse, read the words around it, and step into the whole chapter with one gesture.

CONVERSE
One thread that follows you. Questions belong to your topic, not to wherever you happened to ask them.

RETURN
A place, not a ping. Your trail is always waiting, exactly where you left off.

All scripture comes from the World English Bible, a trusted public-domain translation. The AI is the way in, never the source of the text. It points you to scripture; it never writes it for you.

No notifications. No streaks. No badges. You come back because you want to.

Sojourn is a quiet place to read, ask, and stay awhile.

### 5/5 — A better way understand

*2026-08-20*

Really impressed with Sojourn but I have some demands! It’s easy to use, runs smoothly, the core feature actually worked. The UI is simple but too simple.

I want to be able to load up a specific book based on my faith.

I also cannot be held to habits and maybe a weekly nudge would get me to consider asking about something that happened this week that I might want to reflect on.

Overall 5/5 but it might an 11/10 soon 😉

### 5/5 — Exactly what it says it does

Great app! I’d recommend!

### 5/5 — A different way to read scripture and encounter God

*2026-08-10*

The app is a different way to read scripture and encounter God. I use it when I need encouragement or am having a difficult time. No matter how large or small, it reorients me towards Christ.

This review is unbiased, even though I made the app. Promise. That’s why it is free to use - I hope others are able to find scripture and God in the same ways I have.
