### 4/5 — Fun

*2018-02-22, version 1.3.3*

Not bad for a dink around kill time game. The only complaint I have is that I can’t buy gems. It won’t let me. Other than that I love the game. And even better is you can play it offline.

### 4/5 — Questions

*2018-01-03, version 1.3.3*

great game but is there a way to get back a previous account after removing the app or switching phones? I remember there used to be a Facebook or Gmail connect. where did that go?

### 5/5 — Great RPG Game <('-')>

*2016-01-27, version 1.2.8*

I like the game! But I would like to ask if you could add a recorder? I want this because I'm a YouTuber and would like to record myself playing the game. This way people might be able to check out the game and rate it. I recommend doing this because it will help your games get more rates and it might be cool to be able to record game plays

### 5/5 — Amazing game.

*2015-01-13, version 1.2.8*

This game is amazing to play. It features action RPG at it's best with amazing items, levels, dungeons waiting to be explored. Truly the very best, also in single player, environment. Definitely worthy of a five star rating ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.

### 5/5 — STONE OF LIFE

*2014-11-21, version 1.2.8*

Man, what should I say about this game? First of, it got what it takes:anime, and best controls. But, the controls is a little annoying, because u have to keep pressing it till ur finger hurts, (although I prefer the "press" feel. But other than that this game is down right awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

### 5/5 — Great game

*2014-10-11, version 1.2.8*

I have almost no regrets about downloading and putting countless hours into this game. The only flaw in this game that I have come across is it being too easy, you can pretty much power level the dungeons to get a super busted character in about an hour. But I definitely suggest downloading it.

### 4/5 — Good

*2014-06-26, version 1.2.6*

I like most of the things in this game such as the story line, amount of dungeon, variety ways of leveling and such.. Its just hard to get money to buy some good potions and hard to level for that low level.. I wish you guys actually sell some gold for usd not only gems.. And i would like it if you could actually sell some daggers in the shops not only swords and other stuff.. Overall this game is fun i played or a while and its better than zenonia and inotia

### 5/5 — Absolutely amazing..

*2014-05-09, version 1.2.5*

The game is fresh, fun, and sturdy.. I honestly wish other RPG games would take notes on the clean UI and functions and update their own games, this is definitely a recommended game!

### 4/5 — Must try this game!

*2014-04-29, version 1.2.5*

This is the first RPG app iv played in awhile that iv enjoyed and love!

This game is very fun!
Love the controls graphics and most of all the style of it:)

The only reason i gave it 4stars is because like everyone has said the game is heavily geared towards magic using.

I have a level 50 knight with heavy defense and i would get slaughtered by groups if i tried to use melee attacks, i ended up using trap magic ALL the time.
Now iv played with a mage thats level 60 and going through the game was 10x easier using the mage despite its lower defense, because of its magic usage and higher MP recovery skills i can do more damage and fight higher level monsters easier.

My request to for the game is, improve the melee damage for other classes to make it more balanced for the melee classes. And also an online/bluetooth option to play together in groups would be so much fun, maybe even just special online quests/dungeons quests to do with people be fun as well!:)

Either way great game! Give it a try!:)

### 5/5 — Great game

*2014-03-05, version 1.2.3*

Great successor (or prequel? There's a boy named Marduk in town) to Aurum Blade! Also, to those who may be stuck on the collect 3 herbs quest, one is in the bottom room, another past the turret in the room on the left, and the third in the top room by the windows.

### 4/5 — Pretty good, needs (a little) work

*2014-02-14, version 1.2.3*

Really good game, pretty good storyline, the fighting enter face needs tweaking. Adding brief points where you can't take damage, like when doing big flashy attacks that leave you wide open are oddly absent, and so is the option to attack diagonally. But overall nice game, with odd, poorly translated English. I will add a star if they fix it.

### 5/5 — Reminds me of better times

*2014-02-03, version 1.2.3*

If you played and loved, Diablo II, this will be a great kick back for you. Reminds me before the expansion times. Though it is hard to understand the set items, the slot system, gems, etc is basically the same. Easy to pick up, lots of room to expand on.

### 5/5 — Great followup to Aurum Blade

*2013-12-29, version 1.2.0*

This game is relatively the same as Aurum Blade, the other game by Oddy Arts, but with much improved graphics and gameplay. Aurum Blade was one of the few games that I bothered to review but since it was such a great, fulfilling game with great difficulty and lots of levels of gameplay, and I was super excited to write a review for SOL after an hour of playing. It's AWESOME. It's better than Dungeon Hunter and even though it has 2D graphics they really pop out. There are tons of things to do, from crafting to gemming and it all really makes this game stand out as a in depth dungeon crawling in the vein of Diablo. Highly recommended.

### 5/5 — Great game!!!

*2013-12-03, version 1.1.9*

Extremely fun to play, now here's some thoughts for improvements. (Expand the amount of items to hold in the stash box in the town, have the merchant carry a very expensive item that's powerful (not op but good) to buy (say 1,000,000 or more), have that plus damage ability for all types, just make it hard to fined. And there you go. Just keep up the work.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Time waster for sure

*2014-03-03, version 1.2.3*

Another game where no matter how much you play you literally can farm a million weapons and maybe 300 of them will be for your actual class. Even if all your armor and weapons are the same level as you the enemy still can defeat you easily. You never feel safe. To get an advantage you can pay to get sets that I assume help immensely but you aren't told how many lvls you have to beat to collect your stuff and even though it says LVl ten the floors go up ten levels each time. I was on level 4 fighting LVl 40s with a level 25. It was horrible. And you lose all money even if you reset the game. I can't use ground spells to save my life. They just won't activate no matter what I do. The earth bolt is overpowered. It hits everything it comes across with no blocking. Perfect for those pesky bosses that summon ten people every second. It is so random I can't really recommend spending real money to augment your character.

### 1/5 — Dishonesty and deceit

*2014-01-22, version 1.2.3*

This game is great! But... When i came to the first world that cost money I specifically checked all of the next couple of levels to see what kind of investment it would take to complete the game. On the current world it stated that it was 99 cents. The others just say to complete the previous worlds. Once purchased the next world stated that it would cost another 99 cents. That is very deceiving and I will not support a company or Dev that can not be upfront about pricing.

### 1/5 — The worse version of aurum blade

*2013-05-14, version 1.1.0*

I played this game up to level 20 and I came to a conclusion the game is more complicated and greedier than aurum blade, which was created by the same company. You can't upgrade a weapon, except using the gem socket, and once you imbued the gem, it is irreplaceable. The gems are so expensive to upgrade, and so does skillls upgrade(5 points to upgrade one skill? Really?) gold drop is very insignificant. Potions are crazy expensive, and enemies are way too hard. If you have a hard time defeating swarm of enemies which are 5 level lower than you, then there's a problem. I love aurum blade, and I played all characters and finished the game with each of them. You can't even use the blades unless you pay using real money, ridiculous. Sorry, I am not sticking with this game, the time and effort put into this game is negligibly rewarded. If you like wasting your time fighting the low level enemies so you can level up only to barely survive the next level boss, and then repeat the process over and over again, well, this is your game.

### 2/5 — It's Unfinished

*2013-10-08, version 1.1.5*

I have to say the graphics are good! There's a lot of work done on the interface, and coding part. But this game lacks a lot of thought as far as storyline and considering what you want your player to feel. This game is a very straightforward hack and slash. What doesn't work for me is the very slanted progression system. There is much time needed to repeat levels I have already done and I don't like to feel that way.

It gets tiresome fast. It's like your levels need to engage me more, as far as thought...or reward. What do I get for solving this? A tad of items...which still gets me nowhere. I get...ANOTHER dungeon, which I'm just tapping and tapping. Then I have no magic or health so I die. Enemies take forever to kill. This has become a level crunch game, and I really do not think that's the most optimal approach. Like that's what you need to consider your game to be. What does it do to the player? How does the player feel? You did an excellent job on the graphics, now you need inspiration on interaction.

### 2/5 — Not as good as Aurum Blade

*2013-07-06, version 1.1.3*

Maybe it's intuitive to other people, but not me. I've been playing for hours and there's tons of stuff I haven't been able to figure out how to do and lots of little things that frankly I think were better designed in AB.

The dungeons and graphics are better in SOL, but the interface is worse, both in world exploration and in trying to manage inventory and skills.

### 3/5 — Great game but..

*2017-06-27, version 1.3.1*

.. when you buy anything from the shop (gems, for example) then you never receive what you purchased. I played this game years ago and never had any issue with that back then. I recently downloaded the game again and was disappointed to find that any money you spend is just thrown out the window. Other than that, it's a great free RPG and is actually quite fun.

### 3/5 — Okayish

*2015-08-15, version 1.2.8*

Decent gameplay, although the controls are a little clunky. Storyline is okay- at least it *attempts* character development, if you can exempt the numerous grammatical errors found throughout character dialogue. Grinding is easy, but most items enemies drop are so useless! And it doesn't matter what class you choose- magic prevails, and it takes away variety in combat. You can't expect much from a game made for mobile devices, but you can expect some entertainment from this particular game. 7/10

### 3/5 — Meh

*2013-06-23, version 1.1.3*

I play it cuz its new, but its getting old. The characters look like the puppets from Team America.
The character leveling is the best feature. Its different, fun, and keeps you playing. The gem system is a little frustrating and have minimal options. Your gem storage is going to fill up fast cuz its expense to upgrade unless you waste them on useless crap but the object gains no game value so you see the prob...
