## What is SOLA?

SOLA is a photo-sharing social app in Japanese for single women aged 28 and over - whether you chose not to marry, haven't yet, or are divorced or widowed. No upper age limit.

Talk with people who live at the same pace as you. That alone is fun.

WHAT YOU CAN DO
- Share everyday moments with up to 5 photos and a 250-character caption, such as time alone, hobbies, outings or trips with friends.
- Ask and answer on the advice board about work, money, the future, me-time and everyday life. On the board, a temporary per-post name and a sky icon are shown instead of your profile name and icon.
- Follow, like, comment, hashtags.
- Direct messages with a request inbox for people you don't follow, plus block and report.
- Share your own posts outside the app by link, only when you choose to.

SOLA is designed for sharing everyday life, experiences and conversations within the community.

SAFETY
- Posts, board threads and board replies go through a safety check before publication.
- Report and block anytime. Reports are reviewed by the operator.
- Message contents are not read by the operator except for reported conversations.
- Your posts are never used to train AI.

SOLA SUPPORTER
SOLA is free. An optional auto-renewable subscription, "SOLA Supporter" (JPY 380 / month, or local equivalent), adds a "SOLA Supporter" label to your profile and posts. It changes nothing else - no extra features, no ranking boost. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation; the subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel in your App Store subscription settings.

Note: the app interface is currently available in Japanese only.
Intended for single women aged 28 and over (self-declared at sign-up).

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.1.4 — 2026-10-12

- Tap the Home or Board tab again to jump back to the top, and pull down to load new posts.
- The notification bell now shows a count, and a small bubble shows what arrived (likes, comments, otsukare, follows).
- On the Board, the same person now keeps the same pseudonym within a single thread.
- The Board now uses simple divider lines, matching photo posts.
- Board threads can now also be published on the web (on by default; you can turn it off when posting).
- Fixed an issue where posts and photos could fail to load, and posting could fail, after the app had been in the background for a while.

### 1.1.3 — 2026-10-05

- Faster photos: lists use lighter images, and photos you've already seen are saved on your device so they don't reload every time.
- The SOLA official account now shows an official badge.
- Send "Otsukare" back right from a notification, or send one from someone's profile.
- Fixed an issue where sign-up could return to the age screen.
- A one-time "What's new" screen now appears the first time you open the app after updating.
- Other display and wording improvements.

### 1.1.2 — 2026-10-04

- Push notifications: get notified about likes, comments, "Otsukare", Board answers and more. Notifications never show the other person's name or message text.
- Open your Followers / Following lists from My page, and follow people back right from the list.
- You can now delete your own Board threads and answers.
- Reply to replies on the Board and the Blog.
- Topic settings are now a clear "Show | Hide" choice.
- Other display and wording improvements.

### 1.1.1 — 2026-09-28

- New: a short first-run guide that introduces posting, the Board, the Blog and "Otsukare" in four steps.
- You can view the guide again from Settings > "SOLAの使い方".

### 1.1.0 — 2026-09-27

- New: Blog. Write and read longer posts from the new "Blog" tab. You can like and comment on blog posts.
- Refreshed the look of "Today's Sky".
- Redesigned My Page.
- New default profile icon for members without a photo.
- Clearer sign-up screens.
- Minor bug fixes.
