Another day I can’t complete task 1 because I don’t need shuffles. Ask for something besides shuffles and hints. ### 3/5 — Strange Feeling Some Players Are Not Real *2026-06-28, version 1.9.1* I enjoy this game; however, I believe the designers have created fake players in an attempt to keep real players playing the game. No matter how high a real player goes in terms of score, there’s always one-to-three players who jump ahead or fall back behind the real player by 6 to 20 points. It’s like a vicious circle. Additionally, when a real player stops playing for a period of time and then comes back later to play again before the 24-hr period is over, the activity picks up again where it left off. For example, a player receives a different score for same level. A previously unseen player suddenly appears with a higher score. Deleted. ### 1/5 — Deceiving *2026-07-05, version 1.9.1* You are supposedly competing against others and go up and down in ranking. Say I am in second place and go away for a few hours. When I return I am still in second place and the same person as before is still above and we both have the same scores as when I stopped playing. Obviously this is not a true competitive game they would gave you believe. Also doubt if other players listed are real or fake programmed opponents. Shame because it is actually a fun challenge to play but now lost interest because of deception. The way the scores change is weird sometimes and there is no way to find out how the scoring system works. ### 1/5 — Do NOT Download! *2026-05-19, version 1.7.1* Warning: This app not only has an AGGRESSIVE amount of ads but it will “click” them for you, taking you to the advertiser’s site automatically. The first time it happened, I assumed I had accidentally hit the ad banner by mistake. But then I confirmed it was the app doing it by itself. It doesn’t do it every time or else it would be more noticeable. But it is definitely the app and it’s a very shady practice. (Not sure why Apple is allowing this.) Even worse, as you reach higher levels, the app starts covering the bottom half of the game board with pop up ads you have to dismiss if you want to keep playing. But you know what happens when you click the button to dismiss the ad? You guessed it! It takes you to the advertiser’s site instead. This app is a prime example of why we can’t have nice things anymore. The developers have clearly found a way to exploit the advertising system. And what they’ve come up with isn’t just a nuisance to players; they are ripping off their advertisers as well. They’ve found a great way to drive traffic to their advertisers’ sites. But it’s not legitimate traffic from interested shoppers. It’s just people trying to play a casual game who had a robot hijack their phone long enough to get a few extra clicks. You’d be better off carrying a real, portable Mahjong game with you, rather than messing with this infuriating app. ### 1/5 — Ads *2026-05-18, version 1.7.1* No ads. What a crock. However, this Sola Mahjong is one of the WORST in terms of lengthy and constant adds. I’m sorry but I play games to relax, not stress out over constant adds. I prefer paying for yearly use rather than to being bothered like the FREE games say they are. I am deleting this and all FREE games off my phone.
