## What is Solar Puzzles?

Blast off into a friendly little universe made for young space fans!

Solar Puzzles is a gentle, ad-free collection of space puzzles for kids who love the solar system. Every game is easy to pick up, encouraging, and never scary — there are no harsh "game over" screens here, just "Great flight, astronaut!"

SIX SPACE PUZZLES
• Planet Blocks — drag glowing planet pieces to fill rows on the star grid.
• Planet Rescue — free the trapped planets in handcrafted rescue missions.
• Planet Portals — slide blocks into their matching portals to clear each level.
• Cosmic Marbles — match three marbles before they reach the black hole.
• Planet Trails — draw one unbroken flight through every sector of a sky chart.
• Space Museum — collect all eight planets and five dwarf planets, each with a real, kid-friendly fact.

REAL SPACE, DONE RIGHT
The whole solar system is here — including every dwarf planet — with science-accurate placement and honest facts. (Where no real photograph of a world exists yet, we say so instead of showing made-up art.)

MADE FOR CHILDREN
• Big, friendly touch targets for little fingers.
• Encouraging, kid-friendly words throughout.
• Plays fully offline — perfect for trips.

SAFE & PRIVATE
• No ads. No third-party tracking. No analytics.
• No accounts and no personal data collected — everything stays on the device.
• Designed to meet Apple's Kids Category and privacy requirements.

THE SPACE PASS — OPTIONAL
Everything above is free, and stays free. For families who would like more, the Space Pass is an optional monthly subscription. It unlocks Planet Trails, Planet Blocks' Time Race, real photographs throughout the Space Museum, hearts that refill twice as fast, and extra tries in Cosmic Marbles.

• 2.99 USD per month, or the equivalent in your local currency.
• Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase.
• It renews automatically each month unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Manage or cancel it any time in your Apple Account settings.
• Buying sits behind a parental gate, so a child cannot subscribe alone.
• Shared with your Family Sharing group.
• The games themselves still never need a connection. Only paying does.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.6 — 2026-09-04

Planet Trails is a new game. Draw one unbroken flight through every sector of a sky chart, touching the beacons in order, and land on the world the flight is for. Forty charts, no clock and nothing to get wrong.

It comes with the new Space Pass, together with Planet Blocks' Time Race, real photographs in the Space Museum and hearts that refill twice as fast. Everything that was free before is still free.

Hearts can now tell you when they are full again. It is one quiet reminder, off until you switch it on, and the only notification the game will ever send.

Solar Puzzles also turns sideways on iPad. Planet Blocks rearranges itself for the wider screen: a taller board, the pieces in a column beside it and the score on the other side, so nothing is squeezed.

### 1.5 — 2026-08-11

Hearts come to Solar Puzzles. Every game shares one tank of five: losing a run costs a heart, and one grows back every 20 minutes on its own, even while the app is closed. An empty tank means a short space break — the Space Museum stays open the whole time.

Leaving a game halfway costs a heart too, and now you watch it go: the game says the price before you confirm, then shows the heart spent, the hearts left and the wait for the next one.

Also in this update:

A tidier home screen: star points and hearts share one pill, with a ring counting down to the next heart.
On iPad, How to Play and Settings now fill the screen instead of floating in a small card.
Planet Blocks drops the Sun badge — the board's own glowing rim already says which way blocks will fall.

### 1.4 — 2026-08-07

Planet Blocks now grows with you. Reach a new level and the Sun moves: blocks start falling sideways, and later it hops from edge to edge. Then come the comets, frozen blocks that never move and need two burns to melt. Deeper in, one can land right in your tray, so you pick the spot yourself.

Also in this update:

Picking up a piece is quiet now, with a firmer buzz instead of a click.
A piece can no longer drop into the wrong place while the board is still burning.
The new planet card fits properly on every screen size.
More avatars to choose from.

### 1.3.0 — 2026-07-30

The black hole is more alive than ever! It now glows red and spins faster and faster as the marble chain gets close — and gently slows the chain down near the edge, giving young astronauts a fair last chance. In Planet Blocks, meteors now burst finished lines instantly. Sound, music and vibration now toggle right from the pause screen, and the screen stays awake while you play. Plus small fixes and polish for smoother play.
