The app is FREE and works fine. It sits sideways on my iPad and won’t rotate when I’m using it. Plays Solar radio but there is a little time delay on iPad with the feed. You can bring up a schedule for shows on the day and that about it. Dose the job but boring radio player. The Jazz fm player will list every song playing and gives you a picture of the album it comes from. Helpful if you want to find or buy the song. There is even a drawing of the presenter as their Show is on. Come on Solar do something more interesting with your app please! You can also listen to Solar on the FREE Radioplayer app with all the radio stations on Sky and local stations not on Sky. That is the best option for Solar radio at the moment. ### 3/5 — Ok with wi-fi *2011-08-06, version 3.0.1* This is a good app if your on a wi-fi hotspot or indoors (but then I'd be listening on sky), but out & about it's pretty useless. IMO no other station comes close for lovers of classic and new r&b, soul, funk, jazz, dance, electronic music and hip-hop. The DJs are experts and very knowledgable about their music. Tony Monson, Dave Brown, Les Adams (he has a great podcast for his sat show) are just a few of my favs!
