The app has always been a breeze to work with…. Up until this new SolarEdgeGo app was launched. About 90% of the time I’m unable to log into inverters for commissioning or service calls. Once I toggle the switch left to connect to inverters WiFi I get stuck in a “processing” loop that never completes. When you call SolarEdge support, they request device logs and even that doesn’t work! It pulls up the logs in file form but won’t allow you to send the email!! So incredibly frustrating for the installer AND customers when I’m standing around for hours trying to connect to inverters. PLEASE FIX THIS PROBLEM SOLAREDGE MY GOODNEEE ### 1/5 — App constantly crashes *2026-04-19* The old solar edge app worked great. The new solaredge go just goes to a gray screen. Pretty disappointing. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling, power phone off and on. All the normal stuff. Too bad they improved it until it broke. ### 1/5 — S.E. Installer *2026-04-09* Set App was difficult enough. This new app is complete garbage. I spend two plus hours and still cannot make effective changes. The graphics and organization that display data is like several steps back. Yet S.E. presents this as an improvement. It’s good that I don’t do this for a living. It’s just in the last five years or so that they are obviously a failing company. Every new update of the app makes something worse or takes something good away. It matches their inverters. Cramming as much as possible into roughly the same size box while being just slightly different to make it time-consuming to swap shows that they don’t really think down the line how it will go for the service techs. Continuous errors in the app. Connected to inverter several times with same model at a site and only one would actually request a firmware update. App keeps saying I need up to date setapp which is their old app. Everything is half baked. I see why everyone complains about solar edge. ### 1/5 — Absurdly Buggy *2026-08-06* Why on earth SolarEdge decided it was a good idea to port their already poorly designed app into another app is beyond me. There are countless bugs and glitches and there seems to be no push to fix them. Constant disconnections, incorrect firmware versions uploaded, broken registration vs existing site connection options, etc. This app is abysmal and SolarEdge should be embarrassed to have their name on it. ### 1/5 — Would Like My Camera To Work *2026-07-14* I installed the app and I like the menus, but I can’t use my camera. I allowed my camera to be used by the Solar Edge Go app and it still won’t let me use my camera to scan and replace a solar edge inverter. I want to use the app when I want to use it, not when YOU want me to use it. Eff this company! ### 1/5 — Installing vs connect *2026-07-02* Logged into my account I can’t just access the inverter to collect production. There is no option m, it automatically performs updates if there available. It also reboots for 3 min prior to reconnecting and updating. I have a sight that requires me to do collect overall manual production every quarter bc the site isn’t communicating in the platform. I have spoken to tech support 3 times and no one can answer why I’m getting an invalid CSRF token every single time i try and log in. I have zero access to my system now!!!! THIS IS EXTREMELY FRUSTRATING!!!!!!!!!!! FIX THIS APP!!!! UPDATE - there was a new bug fix and ios update that has now allowed me access. THANK YOU FOR FIXING IT! ### 4/5 — Bug Report - Unable to set Battery Mode *2026-04-15* In general, I really like the app. I am using this review to report a nasty bug. It was very confusing until I figured it out. I am unable to use SolarEdge Go to change the battery mode. Instead, I have to use the monitoring platform. The app always reverts back to whatever has been set in the monitoring platform. ### 4/5 — Works Great, Remote access is very nice. *2026-03-27* Great App. It needs remote access to follower inverters and follower batteries.
